Too small of a sample size still. Teams will start to pull away after Christmas. That's when the season really starts taking shape.

This. Few winning and losing streaks for certain teams can completely change the whole scenario.

6 teams for sure will secure a PO spot - Nets, Bucks, Heat, Sixers, Hawks, Bulls

5 will be competing for the remaining 2 spots - Knicks, Hornets, Wizards, Celtics, Raptors

2 teams that will be a nuisance - Cavs, Pacers

Being deep with equally weak teams is not the same as being STRONG, which is how the East was when LeHercules was there.

The West is much stronger in recent years.
