So long as Fox isn't a malcontent rejecting a Simmons deal makes some sense. Simmons is the better player but he's too sensitive. This can't play because of hurt feelings business means not only must your whole team walk in eggshells and the coach can't criticize but now the fans can't boo when he had a bad game and you have to worry about whatever else is going on in his head and his personal life. No thanks. That's why his trade value is so low. How can you know for certain that you are doing something or the fans are doing something that won't pull his trigger?

At his peak Fox should be a top 10 point guard for 5+ years. And as far as we know he won't refuse to play if the coach questions him after a bad game.

I understand that some people have mental health issues and if his are real I feel bad for him. But this a multi-billion dollar league for grown men. He is in the middle of a contract worth hundreds of millions. There is no time or place for this nonsense.
