"Scott Davenport head coach of Bellarmine basketball has arguably the most unique offensive scheme in the country. His program's combination of passing and off-ball motion has produced some of the most efficient offenses over the past decade. In this video, we look at the stats and X's and O's behind the Bellarmine scheme."

The fact it hasn't been adopted anywhere is proof enough it's a heavily flawed system that doesn't lead to success

Bron could not play like this

Useless off the ball and useless without pounding the rock

Thread has nothing to do with Bron, and this Australian f*ck brings him into it.

Dude seriously tries to bash Bron stans when he's low key one of his biggest stans.

Spurs, 2014 NBA playoffs. "The Beautiful Game"

It's a sound system, the difficulty is convincing players to buy into it. Most players, when they have the ball in their hands, they're looking to shoot. They'll pound the ball on the floor, probing for an opening. If they can't find one, they'll look for a pass to a shooter so they can at least get credit for an assist. The concept of passing the ball to a teammate on the wing, who can then pass the ball down to the corner, who can then pass the ball inside... why would they do that? What's in it for them?

I can't think of a current NBA star who would be willing to participate in a heavy ball-movement offensive scheme where his own shots would be reduced in favor of a wide-open teammate.
