I wonder why the media didn't focus so much on this case, yet they did for an obvious case of self defense in Kyle Rittenhouse.

We, as in ISH felt that the video was disturbing. Or at least a very good portion of ISH. And not counting that past month where the Rittenhouse case was going on, the Ahmaud Arbery thread was very similar in terms of activity. Actually the Kyle Rittenhouse thread is currently at 15 pages, with the trial and all, and 15 months old. And the Ahmad thread is currently at 13 pages, and 6 months old.

The Kyle Rittenhouse case was an obvious case of self defense, yet the media pushed a narrative that Kyle was an active shooter white supremacist murdering innocent black people. Such a false narrative is going to cause push back from those who actually saw the video and looked into it. You have a side who's trusting the media and lack any curiosity to actually look at the videos of the shooting, or read up anything about the looters, and you have another side going, "WTF? This is an outrageous lie."

That lie, that brazenly false narrative is the reason as to why it was polarizing. And my guess is that it was an attempt by the media to link Trump and white supremacist active shooter killing black people together. Because the people behind the media no full well that people will just repeat that without looking into it. They understand human nature.

Arbery was not a jogger. Local store owners called him "Ahmaud the Jogger" because he'd use jogging attire as a cover to run up to stores and dart in and out with stolen merchandise. That evidence was not allowed into the trial by the judge. I don't feel super sorry for these cowboys but I'm playing the world's smallest violin for this scumbag who's crimes finally caught up with him.

There should be no riots for either verdict. At the end of the day, 3 criminals are now worm food. Our society is better off for it :cheers:

His criminal tendencies had more to do with his death than his skin color. If he had been out there keeping down a job or going to school instead of scoping out potential targets to rip off he'd be alive today. Criminals know what they are getting into when they sign up. If he had been a teen or early 20s maybe I could pass it off as being just young, dumb and bored. But this was a 26 year old grown man. Boo effin hoo. When your adrenaline is pumping you're bound to say anything. It's possible they are racist, it's possible they are not. Who cares. They chased a guy onto public property when he was no longer a threat and did not have any stolen property with him. They should have not engaged him and let the cops do their job. They didn't so they will spend their lives making license plates for us.

No one feels very bad for these guys spending the rest of their lives in jail. Obviously not liberals, and not conservatives. Do we really have to create a sensational reason as to why this scumbag was killed? Black people are not hunted every day. And if they are it's certainly not by anyone other than other black people.
