Lakers have not had a single impressive game yet this season

I know the usual Lebum sack swingers are celebrating that the Lakers just squeaked out an OT win over the world-beating Pacers and are up to .500, but the games they've won, they've barely beaten garbage teams. I would be VERY concerned if I were a Lakers fan.

20 games into the season, and not a single emphatic victory yet. Probably the best thing they could do is start tanking now.

Of course a win is a win. But do you not find it telling that the Lakers have been barely beating lottery teams? And that they are only .500 despite having the second easiest schedule in the NBA thus far in the season?

Would you not say that they are falling massively short of expectations since they were the favorites to win the West before the season started?

Trajectory is right. He's inconsistently very good. He's older. He cant match westbrooks physical speed intensity. Lebron reminds me if peyton manning for that bronco team who won the superbowl

Havent had one in 2 seasons...I started a similar topic 2 weeks ago. The Lakers struggled every game last year.

bron's garbage style of play is catching up to him, bad jump shooter, no crossover, and never working on that stuff.. and if he ever did you don't see it. Mj went from a slasher to a jump shooter in his later years, wade did similar but not nearly as well.

Lakers definitely haven't been impressive at all. Most of their wins have been tight too. I still think it's too early to judge them. Important pieces like Tucker and Ellington (shooting) came back a few games ago. This team is completely new from last year, it takes time for bball teams to mess.

I want to see their record by AS break-ish. Then we'll get a good idea of what this team is. One thing is for sure, even from last year, Bron has lost a step. He struggles to get by guys in the half court and has little lift when he jumps. All of his great games were when his 3 is on. When he's not hitting those, it's tough for him to get to the rack.
