Certainly better than shooting a jump shot over Craig Ehlo.

i could come back from 3-1 too if my “second” option outplayed the back to back unanimous MVP head to head and hit all of the clutch shots :lol

Shouldn't have been down 3-1 in the first place honestly.

A flair for the dramatic. He had it all along.

Giannis has low standards. Nothing to see here.

How many sidekicks outplay the league MVP do you know? Only Lebron's sidekicks like when Bosh outplayed Rose in the 11' ECF, or Kyrie destroying Curry in the 16' Finals, or when AD demolished future MVP Jokic (20' WCF).. When a sidekick outplays the league MVP - that's the most help possible, and Lebron usually still had a 3rd star teammate after that
Furthermore Lebron's 30/11/9 < Jordan's 41/9/6... and it's a bigger gap because the 93' Finals had only 89 pace... and Jordan averaged 20 more than pippen, so he defeated maximum defensive attention.
Ultimately, everyone in history had equal-scoring teammates except Jordan - equal-scoring teammates attract equal defensive attention, so only MJ defeated maximum defensive attention in the Finals and throughout his career.

So did he overdo the drama in 2011?

As a Lakers fan, I agree. Giannis did do it the hard way, and hat's off to him for that. If Giannis respected Lebron and really wanted to play with him, he wouldn't have re-signed with the Bucks.

These arguments from players/coaches are basically useless because of their bias and flip-flopping.
Only idiots would use these standalone quotes as their main argument.
