btw this 'ban' is of course all theatre. regardless of whether or not omicron spreads to the us now doesn't mean that it eventually won't through the means of other country's travelers.

to add to that, the ban only prevents foreign nationals from flying here, not american citizens... and i don't think covid discriminates in that regard.

I think it's been pretty well documented it discriminates against those who are sitting. For example, it can't get you inside a restaurant if you are seated at your table. If you are standing though all bets are off.

Looks like 2 of the 8 African countries ban had more than...ZERO cases of the new variant. 6 of the 8 didn't even have a single case.
