I don't get it. Is Sony stupid? I couldn't even find any on Black Friday. They should release a ton to get Christmas sales. How are they gonna sell if there's none to be bought? It's been a year and you can't even find a console!

Is sony accepting food stamps? Maybe they don't, so try gamestop instead..

Oh wait.

Same for XBox. No one has consoles.

I signed up for that. I didn't get an invite. I wonder if that's still ongoing.

Bitcoin miners are buying anything with a processing chip as fast as they possibly can, hence the shortage of PS5 and XBox units.

But for how long? Will it always be this way? At this rate, by the time PS5 is widely available, it will be time for PS6 to come out.

It'll likely be this way until crypto is worthless, which isn't likely to happen any time soon.

Yes. It's all Bitcoin's fault.

Give me a break.

I got the $13 walmart membership for a month. I was able to get a ps5 but that was 7 days ago online and now the I'm told it's delayed. It better not get canceled.

Blame the same chip shortage that's making everything else electronic almost impossible to find, and expensive as hell when you do find it. Wal-Mart, Gamestop, and Best Buy are all using the shortages to drive sales of their premium membership services. Pay a monthly fee for the service, and they'll text you and let you know when an item on your list is in stock. If by some miracle a unit does make it to the shelves it's gone within minutes, because an employee texted a friend or family member and told them it was available. And of course then it makes it's way to Ebay, with $200 or $300 added to the price the scalper paid.

Youre probably in luck, mine was delayed by sony and it got shipped a while later. I doubt they just up and cancel it if you already paid for it but you may have to wait a bit. When you get it theres plenty of free ps4 games to download in case you havent played them

I got an invite this week, logged onto the link as soon as my allotted time, was queued for 10 minutes....and came out of it with sweet fukk all.

At this point I'll just stick with my PC until stock normalizes, by which point the library will have matured a bit. Right now, we're still in a cross-generation phase where they're still making some key titles for the PS4( like Horizon and God of War). The PS5 probably isn't going to be free of last-gen constraints till like 2023.

No.

China and Russia are busy testing hypersonic missiles and low orbit nukes. They don't care about producing video games.
