View Full Version : Dream Team Spacing Concerns?

My all-time starting 5 constitutes of:

Hakeem = He was better than Kareem (all-around) and made a young Shaq look silly..
Garnett = He could guard all those stretch bigs and wing players as well. Moreover, he had the ability to hit the long two, however much one might think it is worth, can open up lanes just as e
effectively.
LeBron = Who needs Magic when you have LeBron in your team.
Jordan = The GOAT.
Curry = Greatest shooter ever.

Normally, I would play DIRK at the 4 spot but I cannot afford to have two bad defensive players in the line-up. Dirk may give me more threes but Garnett can give me some long twos and in return, sublime D!

So what's wrong this team? Does it lack the adequate floor-spacing required in today's NBA?

Trade Lebron for Bird and you have an unbeatable team. I don't think there would be spacing issues.

He absolutely did not. Did he win the matchup? Sure. But that’s it.

That's for real one of the bigger myths in NBA history. Shaq more than held his own as a 3rd year player going up against the best player in the league in the midst of a GOAT level peak, and performed significantly better than his center counterparts did.

I’ve actually watched 3 of those 4 games and the difference between their levels of dominance was barely discernible.

Hakeem was a little more skilled and wiser but Shaq gave him absolutely all he could handle.
