In theory according to the experts

Hughes > Pippen
Stackhouse > Harper
Laettner > Kukoc
Oakley > Rodman

This should have been a gimme. He was gift wrapped a championship team

It's funny because the Wizards were headed towards the 2002 Eastern crown before he got hurt in game 46:

In the 46 games that Jordan played in 01/02 before the injury, he averaged:

25.1 - 6.2 - 5.3 - 1.5 - 0.5 on 42%

In his last 20 games up to the injury he averaged:

27.5 - 6.4 - 5.2 - 1.3 - 0.5 on 44%

In his last 10 games up to the injury he averaged:

29.7 - 6.6 - 6.1 - 1.2 - 0.3 on 47%

Larry being injured for LeBron doesn’t count. MJ actually played more games than Larry

Mike James peak stats:

20 ppg
6 apg
58% TS%

Individual defense is actually irrelevant (except for MJ's)

So the answer to this thread is that Pippen and Larry Hughes are both around as good as Mike James.

What’s actually funny is that they were exactly 30-30 in games Jordan played that year.

Lol, we are actually taking a 38-40 year old jordan far removed from the game as a significant point of information about his greatness. Ok.

Why don't you take injury into account when discussing Pippen?

Again, the Jordan trolls start this stuff. They cut no slack for Pippem and his overall success between the ages of 35 to 38. Why don't you check them?

Wasn’t Pippen the third best player on a WCF team that took a championship squad that threepeated to game 7? Not exactly Allen Iverson stuff but way better than being the best player on a team that gets swept first round or doesn’t make the playoffs
