I think it is time to give the Suns credit for their finals run last year and to the Bucks for beating them. The Suns had the second best record in the league last year. People act like they were the 6 seed and only got to the finals because of luck.

Literally every team the Suns faced on their way to the Finals had a significant injury, so that was definitely lucky.

Yeah maybe. I don't think many outside of Phoenix gave Phoenix a serious chance at winning it all. Defense wins chips and Phoenix Defense was suspect. They were fun to watch though.

not having a *legitamate* back up C was fatal for the suns, among other things (like no one being able to spark offense at crucial moments or the reffs allowing gianna to do her thang in the paint).

but this year they don't have the newbie mindset, they're locked in and have a decent back up center. mikal is also playing incredible defense and Booker is becoming TheMan©
