Bad defense by Jordan Poole; leaving his man wide open; broke the team defense. Defensive lapses do NOT show up in stats; but they impact the game as much as points scored.

Wiggins playing with a lot of energy on both sides of the court.

Bad shot selection by Poole; chose to go 1 on 2 including against Ayton. Got blocked.
Dont let paul do that wtf

Suns are good at switching; hopefully the Warriors have learned from last game.

Ayton right now is exactly what you mean when you say "rim protector".
Who called Timeout there?

Poole being a selfish wimp; refuses to screen. Slips are for wimps. Team offense means sacrificing yourself; which he's shown he's not willing to do.

Porter slow and clueless on D; has no idea how to guard screen and roll; despite years in NBA.

GP2 bumps Chris Paul "out of my way", grabs board and puts it in. Hustle.
Kerr playing payton and he gets the rebound. A little unlike chiozza last game

Refs letting them play; don't agree with that, but have to adapt.
Whew jta. The kind of play that hypes up a team!

gP2 leaping over EVERYONE to get that board that setup of Bjelica's 3 !

Steph and 1
Steph learning he has to be physical instead; not asking for fouls.

Yeah 2nd night of a back to back traveling to their home where they've been resting for 3 days, no D Book, this game was already going about how I expected.... and now Mikal injured.... ****. Looks like the streak is probably ending tonight. **** the streak though, I'm worried about Mikal. He's been a f*cking ironman, never missed a game since being drafted if i recall. PLEASE be nothing serious, we need you :(

2 Quality teams; Warriors can't expect to get a 70 pt margin (like Memphis over OKC); gain a lead, PhX comes right back.

Suns finding ways to beat Warriors Zone: charge in, and then back out. Crowder a threat from perimeter.

Damion Lee- terrible defender. Game after game I point this out. He neither guards the ball nor his man; he stays in no mans land and leaves his man wide open for shots.

Steph Curry leads all scorers- 12 pts,. 4-8, 3-5 fro 3 pt range.

Some very nice ball movement by GSW (2nd unit with draymond)

JTA again with the hustle, loose ball gather. JTA and GP2 are fun to watch on 2nd unit. Both play with heart.
Wiggins 4 fouls now I think. Not good

Steph using his new muscle moving Cam Payne into another zip code before nailing that 3.
Curry again but no foul:rolleyes:
Suns should do something in the 2nd half. They shouldn't halt their long winning streak now.

Goddamn Warriors playing physical tonight. I mean I'll take the FTs, keeping us in the game. But I don't want any more injuries against this team.

Honestly a lot of those fouls the Warriors have been doing were really dumb too because I just don't see a ton of energy and confidence from some of the Suns players on offense tonight. Shot selection has been shaky especially whenever CP3 hasn't been on the court. Warriors are helping keep the Suns in the game sending them to the line so much.
Entire warriors lineup gonna foul out by the end of this game
Wiggins with the penny hardaway

lmao This is great, keep sending us to the line AND waste your only challenge.
Surprised they didnt call a foul on that shot too lol

Welp I knew it was coming. Our our defensive rotations just haven't been that good tonight, Warriors were due to start hitting 3s and go on a run.

Warriors mixed unit again- GP2, draymond, Otto Porter, Poole, Wiggins. Building a lead.

Jesus Christ this has to be Cam Payne's worst game since joining the Suns before the bubble. After having a good game last night he's playing like ass tonight
Warriors FTs!!! Hallelujah

Holy sh*t we miss Booker so much in this game. Cam Payne the only dude who can create his own shots other than CP3 but he's shooting like GARBAGE tonight

Devin THICK Booker showing why suns are his team. Chris Paul is just mark Jackson at this point

This reminds me of a game last year where Book didn't play, Cp3 really needed to take more shots and carry the offensive load but he didn't and we lost.

Ever since Klay was fouled mid air leading to 2 year injury; I've been saying mid-air foul should be flagrant 1. I'm glad to see this. NBA needs to protect players when they are mid-air and vulnerable.
"ball dont lie ball dont lie" bum
Dray elbow J? Okay
Dray J again

Draymond's screens have been invaluable. He's very good at them; ties up the defender for seconds.

The big difference in this game was Cam Payne taking the shots that DeAndre Ayton SHOULD have been taking. Ayton is an under-utilized offensive weapon.
No one on GSW can stop him. Ayton has good footwork and a soft touch. If the Suns respected him, he would have 35+ points today. They went away from him and became an average team.

The issue with Ayton is that he has too much of a beta personality. If he was more aggressive and demanded the ball, they would be better with him. Like you said, there's no reason for him not to drop a ton on the Warriors tonight. Refs have been the best players in the game tonight for the Suns and they're still getting blown out. You love to see it. Bye bye winning streak!
Snap up dat winning streak:pimp:

Oh well, this went just about how I expected it to go. We looked tired and sloppy compared to Tuesday, really sucked this was on a b2b. Knew the Warriors would have more in the tank especially going deep into the 2nd half.
Without Book though, it would have been hard to win even if we were well rested, especially in front of their own crowd. Warriors are a good ass team and they feed off their fans. Sh*t it was hard enough to beat them the first time at home. We really need Book back asap
That said, I was really disappointed witn Ayton tonight. Cam Payne too. Thought those 2 would have put up a better fight but they played so ugly. Man Ayton sucked tonight. Idk what was going on with him. Dude forgot he was the biggest dude on the court all game long. I hate when he has these timid ass games like this where he plays super soft and weak.
Still frustrates me watching him play like that whether he's tired or not. If he wants a 5 year max he's gotta learn to dig deep and find more energy. I wanna see him play like a beast in games like this where Book is out and he has a chance to be "that guy", on 2nd night of a back to back or not. No excuses. If he wants long term max money that's what I expect out of him.
Oh well. GG Warriors fans. Hopefully the Christmas day rematch we're both healthy and rested and Klay is playing too.
