Luka was definitely better than LeBron at 20.
05 LeBron was not a superstar.

Wasn’t passing or defending like he would later like in 08.

Luka’s passing and scoring was way more advanced.

Jordan at 28, 29, 33, 35 won league, finals, scoring title, all nba 1st team, all 1st defensive team and won the title for the franchise that drafted him and that never won prior to him arriving.

Just FYI the ages on basketball reference aren't always accurate for players. I only say that because I'm assuming you don't believe 1999 Shaq is the best 27 year old ever getting swept in the 2nd round.

Yea, I pretty much labeled Shaq at 27 for 2000 given OP said "age by Feb 1", I assume that meant they were that exact age at that date, and Shaq was 27 by Feb 1st, 2000 I believe.

But I pretty much went age by basketballreference.

Kawhi better than 2000 version of Shaq? LOL

Shaq was 28 when the playoffs came around. Kawhi was 27 when he won the title in 2019 and then a few days later turned 28.

Ah, didn't see the bolded. I only pointed that out because I always consider the players age for that season by what age they were in the playoffs.

Kawhi not even better at 27 than Magic Johnson, LeBron, MJ, Durant, Bird etc, let alone Shaq.

Lebron weakened his opponent by stealing their sidekick:

So Lebron had the East all-star center and his opponent's sidekick, along with the future COY and top defenses... aka HIGH SEEDS in a conference that 1-star teams were winning, while MJ had rookie low seeds in a conference that required a super-team to win.

Lebron didn't have to carry his worst teams/low seeds in the playoffs because he got 3 years to develop his team into a veteran, high seed before entering the 06' Playoffs.. Otoh, Jordan was thrown into the playoffs in year 1 as a low seed and forced to carry his worst teams in the playoffs as a rookie.

Stats at 22-23 years old against championship team and #1 defense

Lebron vs 07' Spurs..... 22 on 35%
Lebron vs 08' Celtics.... 26 on 35%

Jordan vs 86' Celtics.... 44 on 50%
Jordan vs 87' Celtics.... 36 on 41%

Lebron's first playoff teams actually had the East all-star center and his opponent's sidekick (a 22/5/5 all-defender acquisition), along with the future COY and top defenses... aka HIGH SEEDS in a conference that 1-star teams were winning, while MJ had rookie low seeds in a conference that required a super-team to win..

Ultimately, at some point in everyone's career, they had equal-scoring teammates to attract equal defensive attention for various playoff runs, and therefore weren't facing maximum defensive attention - any period without max defensive attention are inflated stats compared to Jordan, who faced max defensive attention for his entire career by carrying the scoring load in every SERIES, let alone playoff run..

So Jordan's stats are the baseline to which everyone is compared because his stats are the only stats that reflect max defensive attention for an entire career, aka no periods without facing max defensive attention (no inflation).

Luka being better than LeBron at 19 is also crap. LeBron at 19 averaged a couple of more points on a higher fg%, one assist more, a steal and half a block more than Luka at 19. Luka averaged about one rebound more.

Also, why random-ass "age by Feb 1st" and not just flat out age? So you could say that McGrady, who would otherwise be completely obliterated by LeBron (who played 31 games at 18 and averaged 20/6/6) is best at 18, but at the same time include Luka (wrongly) being better than LeBron at 19?

Because Jordan's birthday is after February 1st. ITs a clever way to keep him completely off the list, cause he would of made it as the best player at age 40. but because of the unique rules made by OP, he doesnt qualify so he is completely off the list :oldlol:. some "goat" huh? :oldlol:
