There really isn't. Jerry Krause put the Bulls in a good position to win plus the diluted talent in the league. I always felt if you switched Barkely with Jordan the outcome of Jordan's career would be vastly different. Jordan never really had a "what if" scenario because he didn't have change teams. His team was succeful when he first retired. So no real bar to gauge. Plus the help of the media and the league desperate to push the sport all stirred that pot. The perfect storm
