Chris White is probably more famous in the basketball world of people under 30 than 75% of NBA players who other than showing up to play on limited minutes we never learn anything about or even see what they're capable of.

"YouTube" basketball is becoming a thing that generates a lot of views and interest because it's still pretty elite basketball yet it's being played in gyms and outdoor courts around the country against average Joe's or local greats which people like tuning in to watch. Guys like Chris White are good players kinda at like Chess Hustlers level if it were Chess (1600-1800 rating) - no they aren't grand masters (like NBA level) but they are way better than average people still so they can pull off some good moves and it makes for good content when they blow average joes out and/or show up to famous parks that puts their best squads in against them. They often put out content working out with pro's or playing against D1 players etc as well. Kinda like the Professor's niche. Of course it's not for everybody I'm just explaining what his niche is.
