He's played all 25 games this season. Remove the first 3 games and that's what he's averaging; close to league average TS%. Consider that LA has had the 2nd most injuries so far this season, with LeBron missing 12 out of 25 games. Still have 2 starters (Nunn, Ariza) missing.

In his last 15 games, Russell Westbrook has put up:

21.3 PPG / 7.3 RPG / 9.2 APG on 56.60 TS%

- That's above league average TS%
- 9.2 APG to 4.3 TOPG
- Assist to turnover ratio of 2.134
- 34.8 3PT% on 4.4 attempts

He's been a quality 3rd option. They need to try and get either Myles Turner (unlikely) or Robert Covington. One of those players will help LA maximize the potential of this team.

He’s been much better lately. Their offense is still horrid though, Vogel truly is a moron.

It helps when Lebron is also out there so Westbrook can be used more as a slasher like the Rockets did. Lakers need to follow that Rockets' formula with AD at the 5 to open up all the lanes for Russ & Bron.

When the Rockets went small in 2020, Russ averaged 33/8/7/2 on 53.3%FG/58.03%TS in January + February (19 games) and took just two threes a game. He can still be an efficient scorer when used right as he's still one of the best at attacking the rim.
