Anybody remember him? What a strange story that will never be solved.

He put up a few monster games though.

I had a dumb dumb fake fan moment a while back. I was familiar with the bison dele story but i didn't follow his career and didn't remember him as a player until i was reading his wiki a few years back and found out he is Brian Williams whom I actually did remember, especially when he was on the clippers

He was obviously a free thinker. I'd like to think he faked his death and is just chillin somewhere but it'd be hard to lay low when you're that big. RIP

His 1995-96 stats for the Clippers:
15.8 ppg on .543 and 7.6 rpg

His 1997-98 stats for the Pistons:
16.2 ppg on .511 and 8.9 rpg

In 1996-97, between these two seasons, he played for the Chicago Bulls, where he was one of the very last guys on the bench. This is the type of player the 90s Bulls just casually picked up to be a bench-warmer.

Who are the other guys they casually picked up?

Ron Harper averaged 20, 6 and 5 the season before he played for the Bulls, where he was the 5th best player at the age of 31 and no significant injuries.

Was he in the rotation in that Bulls team? Or was he in the third unit? Yeah, to deny that those Bulls were loaded is deluding yourself.

it sucks that he was killed by his brother. Bison Dele was a beast when he played for the Detroit Pistons.

He got his devastating knee injury with the Clippers and was already a shell of his former self when he arrived.
You sir are disengenious at best.

Only a stacked team can win 70 games. I don't think that's even up for debate.

He arguably played his best basketball in Detroit after Chicago, if anything his injury just helped Chicago secure his services as a ****ing All Star caliber 11th man. Nobody stacked the deck more than Jordan

Actually, Dele was in a contract dispute with the Clippers and they released him. But absolutely the Bulls were loaded. Harper as a 20ppg scorer was the 5th scorer on the Bulls. Mind you, even with the injuries Haper had, he was still a 20ppg scorer with the Clippers.

Dele was a very good player. He'd be far and away the best Center the Bulls ever had during their run.

Had he played the whole season with the Bulls, they probably win 75-77 games seeing as how they won 69 with so many injuries to key players. That's why I've always felt the 97 Bulls were the best team ever.

This is true. The signing was like Boogie-esque, except of course he wasn't on that level.

The knock on him was he kinda stuggled within the triangle.
