The Ace of Base + Neneh Cherry songs did some business outside of the US. The most anomalous '90s hit is SMV - Weak. It did no business outside of its #1 in the US.

The bolded are songs I am familiar with:

1. Haddaway - What Is Love
Thanks to A Night At The Roxbury.
2. Spice Girls - Wannabe
Well, it's prime Spice Girls.
3. Corona - Rhythm Of The Night
One of those Eurobeat you kept hearing over and over #1
4. Ace Of Base - Happy Nation
Other AOB's songs are better and more popular imo but this was also big.
5. Neneh Cherry & Youssou N Dour - 7 Seconds
6. Christina Aguilera - Genie In A Bottle
On loop on late-90's MTV #1
7. Captain Jack - Captain Jack
Dance Dance Revolution staple.
8. 2 Unlimited - No Limit
One of those Eurobeat you kept hearing over and over #2
9. Aqua - Barbie Girl
Huge novelty song back in the day even though other Aqua's songs are pretty good too.
10. Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler
This was on loop on Euro music video channels in late-90's.
11. Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
Thanks to the rauchy MV I guess.
12. Blur - Song 2
The only Blur song that cracked US charts even though they are huge elsewhere.
13. Snow - Informer
A novelty song at the end, but yeah shit was good for Ska Vanilla Ice.
14. The Cardigans - Lovefool
Great Euro pop that got pushed thanks to being in Romeo + Juliet soundtrack.
15. MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This
:hammertime:
16. Lou Bega - Mambo No. 5
A huge novelty song by the end of 20th century.
17. Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way
BSB has more hits that just this.
18. Britney Spears - ...Baby One More Time
It brought Britney into a superstar.
19. Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply
I Want You is much better imo but another half of the world likes a sappy song more.
20. Emilia - Big Big World
21. No Doubt - Don't Speak
I like No Doubt as a ska band, but this song made them mainstream even though it doesn't sound ska at all.
22. Eagle-Eye Cherry - Save Tonight
This song was on loop on MTV for a while thanks to a creative MV.
23. The Offspring - Pretty Fly
Another great band having its biggest hit being the worse song they've ever made.
24. Scooter - How Much Is The Fish
25. The Rembrandts - I`ll Be There For You
I don't even know or care to know the band. F*** Friends.
26. Michael Jackson - They Don't Care About Us
This is from HIStory, isn't it? There are better songs in the album than this one.
27. Nana - Lonely
28. Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby
Around the same time as :hammertime:
29. Dr. Dre - Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang
30. Ricky Martin - Livin La Vida Loca
Isn't this from 2000's?
31. E-Type - Russian Lullaby
32. Eiffel 65 - Blue
One of those Eurobeat you kept hearing over and over #3
33. Mr. President - Coco Jamboo
I only remember remixes of this song.
34. Heath Hunter - Revolution In Paradise
35. Inner Circle - Sweat (A La La Long)
The gateway to Reggae in the 90's.
36. The Prodigy - Breathe
Not the best Prodigy song from that album but it was played on TV the most.
37. The Cranberries - Zombie
Not their best song, but it was huge in a lot of countries.
38. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Well. The shit that brought grunge into the mainstream.
39. Green Day - Basket Case
The gateway song to Green Day.
40. Dr. Alban - It`s My Life
One of those Eurobeat you kept hearing over and over #4
41. DJ Bobo - Everybody
42. Madonna - Frozen
Should be Ray of Light instead of this song.
43. Mylene Farmer - California
44. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
F*** Titanic.
45. Mariah Carey - My All
46. Radiohead - Karma Police
The most played Radiohead song on MTV.
47. Scorpions - Wind of Change
HUGE in everywhere but the US.
48. Queen - The Show Must Go On
RIP Freddy
49. Sting - Shape Of My Heart
50. Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
F*** Kevin Costner

Isn't Radiohead's biggest hit Creep though?

Radiohead is better defied by albums than singles.

OK Computer era Radiohead was much, MUCH bigger than Pablo Honey era Radiohead, which was then topped by an even better Kid A.

Yes I get that, I love Radiohead but Creep to me seems the song most casuals who have never heard an album of theirs recognizes. My wife who is by no means a fan even knows that song :lol

less than 20% .... the 90's were worst decade in 60 years.

Country western took off , because it became fashionable to use electric guitars...
I listened to more jazz , country, and bluegrass and folk.

I know at least 75% of those and like about 1% of them.
