When this dude was drafted, even throughout his first few years of ball, I’d never imagine he’d become an ATG.

Hey Yo

Funny how Reggie never mentions his 3yrs playing with the shortened line.

The NBA and Under Armour are pushing this extremely hard.

Hugging his mom on the sidelines n shit like he just won the NBA finals.

The MVP has been chosen.

I want to puke.

Congrats Wardell. I hate your fans, but you are a great one. :applause: I just wish I live long enough to witness LeBron break Kareem's record.

3. Where do you rank Steph among the greatest players of all time?

Herring: Steph is already in the top 15, in my opinion. We talk a lot about how Kevin Durant’s joining the Warriors hindered his legacy, as it potentially made the pursuit of titles too easy. But more than anything, it robbed us of the ability to see what Steph could’ve done with the original Golden State core. So winning another title now would eradicate whatever questions remain.

Moss: No question he's the greatest shooter of all time and will be for a very long time. Greatest player of all time? Steph is top 15 at No. 15. For me, I still put Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett slightly above him. Believe this though, another ring and Steph cracks the top 10.

Mannix: He's arguably the greatest shooter of all time—I only use the qualifier because I would really have loved to have seen Reggie Miller and Ray Allen play in this era, when firing up double-digit threes per night is the rule, not the exception—and a third MVP award will put Curry at least in the conversation for greatest point guard of all time. Plus: The way he is playing now, at 34, he has a lot of good years left.

Pina: If Curry stopped playing tomorrow he’d without question qualify as one of the 20 greatest players ever. By the time he actually retires—he’s still playing at such a high level and might easily add at least one more MVP or championship ring to his treasure chest—there’s a decent chance he cracks the top 10.

Beck: Asking where Steph ranks all-time underscores why this exercise is so inherently fraught. There’s never been an NBA superstar built like Curry. He is unquestionably the greatest shooter of all time, the greatest scoring point guard of all time and one of the greatest leaders we’ve seen. But his profile—physically and stylistically—is completely unique, and trying to compare him to LeBron or MJ or Kobe or Wilt or Kareem or Magic or Bird or Russell or Duncan or Shaq is, well, just sorta ludicrous.

Nadkarni: Stephen Curry is one of the 10 most impactful players in the history of the NBA.

Harris: He is in the top 10 for me. I take pride in being a Steph Curry believer since his sophomore year at Davidson. It has been rewarding to watch his journey from March Madness standout to one of the best to ever play the game. He turned something that seemed so simple like a three-pointer into an exciting play. He's a once-in-a-lifetime player, and there are only a handful of players that can truly say they changed the game.

It's tough man. Most top 10s have at least one FMVP.

It’s context. 2015 was his to be honest. And Paul Pierce and Iggy have one despite them being maybe too 50-75 players

he changed the game. for the regular season I guess. or d'antoni did. I dunno whatever. I'm glad they stopped the game and treated it like a real record even though he's like 33 and in his prime and it's just an era thing

I might have to buy his rookie card. I have everyone else's of relevance except Currys. if the people believe in him then I have to invest even though I think he's a fraud that will never win finals mvp

You only want to cry coz he's taken your heroes soul.

The general NBA public also respect him far greater than they respect your hero.

With the amount that you get ethered here, props for still showing your face around

hes not though. defended/high pressure shooting hes one of the worst ever

with a lead/during the regular season/woth a bit of space... ok.. who cares?

with my life on the line vs the best defense I'm going with kobe/bird/Dirk/Durant/tmac/jordan and many others over curry

I would go with the ones you mentioned over Curry too in the clutch. I said Curry was the best shooter, not the best player or the best scorer. When it comes to pure shooting, quick release and dead-eye accuracy, I think Curry takes it over everyone else.

Well, with the aid of moving screens set by his fellow all-star teammates yes. That's what allows him to be an mvp candidate during the regular season. However, in times that matter more like in the playoffs, his numbers would shrink because defenses get tougher rt.

Pop would put him in the doghouse for shooting too many 3s

Yea. But moving screens are the norm right now. Everyone does it.

Also a lot of 'stars' today suffer with their efficiency in the playoffs, so he isn't unique in that regard.

Common sense, perhaps. Like all the other sports celebrate longevity-based records (see Tom Brady the other day).

The thing is, he isn't someone who can be clutch in the playoffs. But luckily, during the dub dynasty days he had useful teammates to bail him out when it mattered the most. Now go figure, child.

It was expected and Curry is the best 3pt shooter in 3 point era.And he is regarded as the best shooter ever. A lot of people tend to compare Ray Allen to Curry - I've watched them and I can say that Ray shot the ball in the purest possible way. Regarding the eras they played in the same NBA for 5 seasons, and their respective 3pt percentages are almost identical - the same from the FTs line. Their postseason percentage is equal.
But given the fact that Curry is volume 3pt shooter and have higher overall efficiency from deep I am giving him the crown for the best 3pt shooter ever. He is the face of this new era for a reason.

Add 8 more to the record from a 46/4/4 performance with Gary Payton II as his main scoring support in a victory without Wiggins, Poole, Iguodala, and Lee. Just Curry things.
