... from newly revealed software vulnerability

This article from CNN that I randomly stumbled upon is some serious $hit:

https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/13/politics/us-warning-software-vulnerability/index.html

Hundreds of millions of devices around the world could be exposed to a newly revealed software vulnerability, as a senior Biden administration cyber official warned executives from major US industries Monday that they need to take action to address "one of the most serious" flaws she has seen in her career.

"This vulnerability is one of the most serious that I've seen in my entire career, if not the most serious," Jen Easterly, director of the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), said on a phone call shared with CNN. Big financial firms and health care executives attended the phone briefing.

"We expect the vulnerability to be widely exploited by sophisticated actors and we have limited time to take necessary steps in order to reduce the likelihood of damaging incidents," Easterly said.

They said it themselves that they EXPECT the vulnerability to be widely exploited, and that there is limited time.

Big financial firms and health care executives attended the phone briefing... the top .01% has gotten the warning... CNN and the Biden Admin can now come back to this and say that they warned everybody that our cyber security was vulnerable and did everything they could to fix the issue. It's on record now, we've all been briefed by Homeland Security. Their asses are now covered if something goes wrong in cyberspace.

Another article of interest from CNN (12/10/21)

https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/10/politics/white-house-red-line-policy-cyberattacks/index.html

(CNN)The White House has enacted a new policy requiring the FBI and other agencies to help US officials quickly assess whether a cyberattack "rises to the level of a national security concern" that could hamper the provision of key services such as fuel or food, according to a National Security Council memo obtained by CNN and two US officials.

The NSC memo in some cases gives US security and intelligence agencies just 24 hours after they learn of serious hacks to deliver initial assessments to senior White House officials on the severity of the situations.

The goal is to more quickly determine whether a ransomware attack, for example, might affect multiple sectors of the economy -- and if the government may need to mobilize backup supplies of commodities, as it prepared to do after a ransomware attack on a US pipeline operator in May.

While the policy would apply to significant hacks of US critical infrastructure from any part of the world, it could inform US assessments of whether the Russian government's tolerance of cybercriminals crosses a red line with the White House, a US official familiar with the policy told CNN.

A second US official familiar with the policy emphasized that it was not developed with a specific incident or foreign government in mind. The overarching consideration of the assessment, that official said, is: "Is this something that the national security adviser needs to call the president about?"

The memo follows multiple disruptive hacks of US infrastructure this year by Russian-speaking cyber criminals, which prompted President Joe Biden in June to hand Russian President Vladimir Putin a list of 16 sectors, including energy and water, that should be off-limits to hacking.

I guess the only question is how much time do we have until our vulnerable cyber security fails us?

I 100% agree...

makes me mindful of how much "wrong-think" will be tolerated on the internet here in the near future.

Might be a good idea not to discuss anything of controversy after our cyber security gets a $5 trillion dollar upgrade immediately after it fails us. Paid with by our taxes obviously.

And once the global economy fails us in part due to this future cyber attack, I'm sure the globalists there at the World Economic Forum will have a solution.... because they've been warning us well in advance that we aren't going to own $hit but we will still be happy. Something about a great reset and building it back better, I forget..... All I know is Obama was a major proponent of Cyber Security:

January 12, 2015

President Obama said Monday he wants the federal government to do more to prevent cyber attacks. He outlined a series of proposals designed to safeguard personal data — steps he'll talk more about in next week's State of the Union address.

The same day, the government itself became a target.

Hackers, claiming ties to the so-called Islamic State militant group, temporarily took over the Twitter feed of U.S. Central Command, tweeting out threats against American service members, as well as personal information and what appear to be military maps.

A Pentagon spokesman downplayed the Twitter takeover as more of an annoying prank than a genuine security threat. But it did underscore the president's point about the need for stronger data security in a world where just about everyone is banking, buying, and communicating more through digital networks.

"If we're going to be connected, then we need to be protected," Obama said. "As Americans, we shouldn't have to forfeit our basic privacy when we go online to do our business."

Like Obama said... you shouldn't have to forfeit your basic privacy to go online to do business. But that's exactly where we are headed. Have to keep the digital beehive in order somehow.

People already get cancelled if they say something the least bit controversial, which is probably worse than being arrested for some people. Character assassination and terminated from employment for tweeting something deemed to be offensive by the thought police woke mob happens daily.

So yea... with the new war on domestic terrorists, and dealing with a rising number of insurrectionists, I could see arrests being made for political posts deemed to be too far-right. We're already starting to see some examples of it in Australia.

Groups like the world economic forum are open about what they want the future of the internet to look like - a closed system where you cannot log in or participate without a your new biometric digital id (which will be linked to things like your vaxpass, your social/environmental credit score, your central bank digital currency account, etc). They want China basically.

The new digital currency system is probably the most important piece of the digital control grid they are building, and no doubt a catastrophic hack of the banking system would be a perfect moment to usher in their new "secure" digital currency.

https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/41243/the-national-guard-just-simulated-a-cyberattack-that-brought-down-utilities-nationwide

By Brett Tingley June 23, 2021,

The National Guard Just Simulated A Cyberattack That Brought Down Utilities Nationwide

This year's Cyber Yankee exercises simulated the increasingly likely scenario of cyberattacks crippling huge sections of the nation's infrastructure.

This year’s exercises simulated a cyber attack that targeted utilities on the West Coast before spreading east across the United States towards New England. In addition to offering hands-on training on how to respond to active cyberattacks, the exercise was also intended to build cyber defense collaboration between the National Guard and private sector partners, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and U.S. Cyber Command, among others.

Cyber attacks on civilian infrastructure have taken precedence as a national security concern in recent years as they have become more common and crippling. A ransomware attack shut down the United States’ largest fuel pipeline in May 2021, leading to fuel shortages on some parts of the East Coast. Officials for Georgia-based Colonial Pipeline eventually paid close to $5 million in ransom to end the cyberattack, of which the FBI was later able to recover some 85% in the form of cryptocurrency.

A similar ransomware cyberattack followed on the heels of the Colonial Pipeline attack in June 2021, this time against the world’s largest meat processing company. It’s not just large private sector entities who are under attack, however, as ransomware attacks against local governments and institutions are increasing at an alarming rate across the US. In one example, a National Guard unit in Louisiana thwarted a cyberattack on government offices in 2020 that was suspected to have originated from North Korea and possibly have been related to elections in that state.

While many of these attacks have been reported to have perpetrated by criminal organizations rather than state actors, many fingers have been pointed in the direction of the Russian government. Some attacks have even been presumed to have originated directly from Russian intelligence services, such as the 2020 cyberattack on the information technology management company SolarWinds which led to breaches of servers owned by U.S. government entities and private companies alike. Russia denied any involvement in that attack.

“I can assure you that we are raising this through the highest levels of the U.S. government,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in the wake of the meat processing ransomware attack in June. “The president certainly believes that President Putin has a role to play in stopping and preventing these attacks.”

Only a matter of time.

Don't forget to blame Russia when the $hit goes down.

Do you think calling me tinfoil is an insult? Or that it discredits me in some way?

I remember being called tinfoil when the "pandemic" started and I said it would be used as pretext to create a vaccine passport system... now vax passport systems can be found in many US states and many countries worldwide, and anyone who opposes these systems is called tinfoil.

I remember being called tinfoil when I disputed the claims made by Fauci/MSM that the "vaccine" (its actually a gene therapy, not a vaccine) would prevent people from catching or spreading the virus... yet now all you vaxcucks obediently wear your masks at all hours because "the science" is unable to show any benefit whatsoever from your shot aside from "reduced symptoms" (a laughably subjective measure of efficacy for people who supposedly are obsessed with "the science")

I remember being called tinfoil for pointing out that there is no science to show that masking can stop the spread of a respiratory virus... 2 years later and there is still zero science whatsoever (prove me wrong and post a legitimate study)

I remember being called tinfoil for pointing out the the fact that govt "health officials" have never once mentioned things like healthier diet, exercise, vitamin C&D, or anything that could remotely help to prevent/treat covid aside from the "vaccines" (btw they arent actually vaccines).

Some of what you wrote is why I tried to get you to elaborate in a prior conversation. The vaccines don't modify genes, they're mRNA's so they simply create protein products. The mRNA would require a reverse transcriptase to work with DNA and that would be easily found in an analysis of the vaccine.

Crispr is an example of gene therapy because it modifies DNA. If we could modify DNA more accurately than Crispr cancer would be a thing of the past.

Also, your bit on reduced symptoms is not the standards we're going by. It's healthcare outcomes...hospitalization, crit care, intubation, death.......how the numbers are increasing or decreasing so objective outcomes.

I remember being called tinfoil for pointing out that there is no science to show that masking can stop the spread of a respiratory virus... 2 years later and there is still zero science whatsoever (prove me wrong and post a legitimate study)

Masks probably wouldn't completely stop transmission, but they do reduce it. The virus is not airborne transmission, it's droplet. Big difference. Droplet requires projectile force like a cough, sneeze or at least a runny nose to spread. Therefore masking is useful. Especially, well-sealed masks like the kn95 that are in better circulation.

This I 100% agree with and this is medicine dropping the ball. Too many greedy, dumbphucks have decided there isn't enough monetary incentive to actually care for patients. Your above mentioned changes would decimate so many of America's health problems from cancer to fatigue that I believe what is going on in our healthcare industry is criminal. Insurance demands 20 minute visits with patients and skimping coverage wherever possible to maximize profit. Doctors demand big salaries and hospitals think they have the right to screw over paying patients because of the growing percentage of patients that are unable to pay anything. The trio has to be broken up and regulated and healthcare has to be deincentivized from keeping repeat i.e. sick customers. And yes, if America were healthier overall, I believe you are right, we'd have had far fewer casualties.

I feel he spoke incorrectly or more likely was taken out of context while discussing the future possibilities of the technology. This guy is not a PhD or an md. He's an exec.

We aren't there yet with the tech. The tech in the vaccine creates proteins that do not interact with DNA. In the near future proteins that can bind to the DNA strand to correct genetic i.e. cancerous mutations theoretically. That is currently being worked on and will be genetic manipulation. We aren't currently there yet.

I will be succinct. American medicine has failed us due to greed. People are dying while greedy c0cksuckers are getting paid to turn the other way. This is where peoples' ire should be directed. Not the culture war, transexual rights, potato head, anitfas everywhere horse shit that you've decided has become your number one concern.

Wrong again, I'm not particularly smart at all.... the reason I have been repeatedly proven correct about this stuff is because I am observant and because I am apparently one of the few americans who is still capable of thinking critically.

Nah, you used to be intelligent. Something else is going on with you that you fall into hysterics extremely easily now though.

Whatever the case may or may not be I hope things improve for you.

I'm checking out, have a good one.

Read better sites or you will continue to be suckered.

Care to point out any parts of that article that are false? "You feel" that the president of Bayers pharma division spoke incorrectly based on what exactly... your stupid fvcking feelings? You think that you are more qualified to define the nature of a treatment than a professional who runs the pharma division of one of the biggest companies on the planet?

Imagine letting "mediabiasfactcheck.com" tell you where to get your news :oldlol:

What's wrong with your ability to seek out a study? I will indulge this time, but if you start acting simple like Cleverness I'll treat you as such.

https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2021/09/surgical-masks-covid-19.html

This was an excellent study that came out months ago and is currently under peer review so be patient. Very large, randomized control. Gold standard.

Nothing is wrong with my ability to seek out a study, whats wrong with yours?

Like I said, find a single peer reviewed study that shows masks do anything whatsoever to stop the spread of a respiratory virus... as you noted the study you linked is not peer reviewed.

If its easy to find a peer reviewed study that proves the effectiveness of masks, then post one

So you think the american medical system has utterly failed us due to their greed... but we should believe all the bogus and unproven claims that this system is making about covid (while ignoring the fact that convicted criminal companies like Pfizer stand to make TREMENDOUS profits because of covid lies and hysteria).

And you are calling me an idiot :oldlol:

Too be honest, the entire premise is just false. The human genome is DNA, therefore, gene therapy has to be able to alter the human genome. To do that requires a reverse transcriptase or proteins that can block or facilitate DNA processing. We can do that stuff theoretically but that stuff isn't in any of the vaccines.

So, with the entire premise being false I need to check out the source and see what I'm missing. Is this cutting edge news that I'm unaware of? Nope, it's an article filled with charged language, selective editing, and highlighted use of quotes around words like "vaccine" and "experts." Professionals don't write this. Clickbaiters for mouth drooling spastic morons do. Out of curiosity (because they sounded familiar and somebody else has also posted their trash) I google reliability of Lifesite News and sure enough, it's awful pseudoscience, conspiratorial, flat out false "reporting" from a far right Catholic group from Canada of all places.

It really shouldn't be that hard to parse junk from actual information, Nanners.

My "feelings", was simply a short way of saying this is suspicious for being sketchy information and has been reported in a shoddy manner so I'm not going to carefully examine this. I've got far too much education and experience in the fields to not know immediate trash when I read/hear it.

When their shoddy reporting does actually begin to take a "full" quote from him, they edit out information with a ... meaning they've skipped some of his message.

They quote him as, "We are really taking that leap [to drive innovation] - us a company, Bayer in cell and gene therapies.... what did they edit out? then they continue with "ultimately the mRNA vaccines are an example for that cell and gene therapy." This is exactly what I told you previously. That we are hoping to use the mRNA to create protein that can change how the DNA is transcribed as potential genetic therapeutics, but we're not there yet.

Then they quote him with, "I always like to say: if we had surveyed two years ago in the public - "would you be willing to take a gene or cell therapy and inject it into your body?" - we probably would have had a 95% refusal rate", stated Oerlich. 1st, I will agree that the mRNA vaccines can be described as cell therapy because that would be correct. You/they misquoted him as calling it gene therapy. I already covered that.

2nd, no shit you can't market something right off the bat as gene therapy and expect the public to accept that unless they're specifically in need of said treatment. It just sounds intimidating. That being said, if you explain that cancer damn near disappears along with that gene therapy then acceptance will obviously rise.

It's odd to me that you'd take that poorly written "article" and take my skepticism as me being "more qualified to define the nature of a treatment of the pharma division, blah, blah, blah.

Read with better scrutiny.

Oh, and no I don't let mediabiasfactcheck decide whether something is true or not. The first page of google results returns several hits about the dubiousness of this media source. That'd be embarrassing to fall for, if that person actually cared about the accuracy of the information that they were sharing.

A study shouldn't be needed to for something so asinine. Once again, it's droplet transmission, not truly airborne. Any type of masks blocks droplets. Same as covering your mouth, however, a mask is insurance for those coughs or sneezes that are too fast to catch. Frankly, it galls me to waste my time searching for such needless information. The only folks interested will never be convinced anyway.

This isn't new info, Nanners. You're acting like Cleverness now. Essentially a flat earther. Well, how do we know that gravity actually exists. There's no proof.....blah, blah, blah. I disprove one stupid theory and I get 10 others to then disprove in their place.

Despite that I provide an excellent study and it's hand waved away. That study will be peer reviewed soon enough, but you'll find another asinine reason to hand wave it away. I provided another study to BronBron about effectiveness of vaccination in Texas and it got handwaved away yet again. There is no point with you folks. There will never be enough proof. I understand that now, I just didn't realize you were completely one of them until now.

Bottom-line. Practice better hygiene.

Nuance.

Personally, I don't put much trust in Pfizer due to Vioxx. J&J has caused me reservation as well. Moderna is a relatively new corp and coincidentally enough, the highest efficacy vaccine so I went with them. Personal choices and all.

Regardless, consider what is on the line here. These corporations know that this is their super bowl. They can be heroes or goats. If you're heroic, that means billions in profit not just now, but far into the future. If they were to **** up and provide a failed vaccine, they'd be at risk of destruction because another company will rise to fill that void.

It's simple economics and capitalism.

You destroy nothing and you do fall into hysterics. Everything is laughable, fvck this, fvck that, idiot, moron, etc etc etc

Very emotionally charged language yet you project that emotion onto the "libtards" and emos of the left. You're getting closer and closer to okra in that regard. "Alpha, weak, beta....."you guys make it obvious where your insecurities lie and you're both becoming very repetitive. I'm at the point where I don't even need to read a post from either of you because I already know what your rant is going to be about. Very limited material to work with, I guess.

Anyway, center yourself or get wrecked by calmer more rational people named fvcking loco of all names.:oldlol:

And yeah, I'm RRR3.....why not, paranoids here have accused me of being about 5 different people at this point.

Don't project your insecurities onto me, babyboi. I'm good.

Im not. Just letting ISH’s general readership know your M.O.

Remember when you thought Beta Orourke was the revolution? You were gung ho agreeing with him on everything. Gobbled up his whole left wing meme candidacy. You and Beta had all the answers and knew how everyone in society should be regulated and how much they all had to pay etc. Then when he sold out to Sleepy Joe you simply disappeared for six months.

When you returned you tried to chastise me for calling vaccines drugs. You didnt even know the basic definition of a drug, despite all the effort you put into this charade of medical experience. Then you disappeared for sixth months :oldlol:

You keep looking for movements to attach yourself to, in the hopes your loyal parroting will pay dividends with the image of some kind of intellect. It’s not only sad, but the fact you do it with such passive aggressive pomposity makes people want to clown you instead of simply pity you.

Youre past middle age, yet still have the identity issues of an angsty adolescent. Youre not a scientist, youre not a doctor, you dont know politics, you dont know... anything, seemingly. You parrot conveniently selected journal entries which are rarely relevant, intended to substitute your own personal lack of intuition for a given topic. Which is exactly what you did with Beta. Youre an overzealous, try-harding follower.

You should make more of an effort to consider things just for the sake of personal growth, rather than trying so hard to “be” at some kind of status level you can flex on a message board.

Thats my opinion.

Honestly, I feel bad for the guy. It's not his fault he's crippled himself with his narcissism. I don't need to block him. I think of him as a good test of my patience that I have unfortunately failed many times.

He needs a good therapist that specializes in narcissistic patients and has very good temperament. I'm not that guy unfortunately.

Speaking of masks...

The best evidence to establish the effectiveness of cloth face masks would be from cluster-randomized controlled trials (RCTs) showing that communities tasked with wearing cloth masks have lower viral spread than those assigned to not wear cloth masks, with high participation and protocol adherence. The endpoint of such studies should be laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection and not just symptoms of illness, because mask wearing could affect a user’s perception of symptoms, creating bias.
The only two sizeable studies evaluating masks in the context of COVID-19 failed to demonstrate statistically significant reductions in confirmed viral transmission either for surgical masks(one study) or for cloth masks (the other).
