Vince hides it well with the ball. But you can see his hairline and its retreating from his eyebrows

Marion is receding same with Mobley.

In the future i think every male will be bald unless a cure is found..its the dominant allele in the gene so if one parent has the baldness gene then your most likely gonna get it.

You can notice already...Some of the guys i went to school with are bald now and their 20:eek:

Is that true?

Is that true?

Indeed.

I would draw you a punnet square if i could.
I'll try to explain.

Your parents are either Homozygous Bald, Heterozygous bald (because bald is dominant) or Homozygous not bald.

Homozygous bald meaning meaning both the alleles have the bald gene
Hetero bald meaning there is one of each
Homo not bald means neither have baldness gene

If both your parents are homo bald you will 100% have the same baldness gene.

If both your parents are homo not bald you will 100% not go bald.

If both your parents are hetero theres a 75% chance you will go bald

If one is Homo bald one Homo not bald 100% chance you will go bald (because bald dominant)

If one is Homo bald and one hetero there is 100 % chance you will go bald.

the odds are not stacked your favour unless your parants are homo not bald, which in itself is unlikely because their lines of heredity would over time become dominated by the dominant bald allele.

Next time your in a shopping centre or something have a look nearly every guy over 40 these days is bald.
Of course the timing and rate of hair loss is different for everyone.

Zydrunas Illgasukas? I just finished watching the last game of the 07 NBA Finals, and I thought, 'If somebody took a picture of just Illgauskas' head, I would think he's a normal 40-ish European going bald'. Oh yeah, and Jeff Van Gundy, bye bye hair!

Vince Carter has a receding hairline. why else does he go bald and wear a headband?

KempSonics
07-19-2007, 09:59 AM
Yeah Vince's hair is basically gone. I think Jefferson's is too.

I remember watcing a a Kings game like 5 years ago. They shwoed teh back of Peja's head and he had lost a ton of hair. I was like, huh I never noticed it before. Then I saw another Kings game like a couple weeks later and you couldn't notice it anymore. He had some kind of concealor on or something.

Vince Carter went from having a full afro in the olympics in 2000, to having a wicked receeding hairline a few years later.

I have my fair share of problems. Thank God hair loss isn't one of them.

Remember when he had the ridiculous looking dreadlocks on top of his head. Tacky indeed. Must of been a pre-midlife crisis.

Whoever told him to do that should be shot. Probably the same person that told the blind Stevie Wonder that dreads would look good on him. If only he knew:(

Ginobilli is getting a pretty big bald patch at the back... Noticed it just this year.

Unfortuntely i've got the receding hairline gene. I haven't lost it all yet, but i can see myself being completely bald by 30. I just shave it.

Funnily enough, girls are more into me now than they were when I had all my hair.
