Pippen's peers had better stats and ROLE - Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, Reggie Miller, Kemp, Payton, Clyde and others were 1a or 1b, while Pippen was a 2nd option with inferior performance.. Again, guys like Kemp or Miller drastically outplayed Pippen against the same playoff opponents.. They all outdid Pippen's performance... Even Robert Horry's peak performance in the 95' Finals was superior to any of Pippen's 6 Finals (gamescore).

If Jordan had an extra all-star teammate (3 all-star team), he would beat any team in history.

Lebron had this extra all-star and still lost a ton

Klay/Dray hadn't made an all-star team heading into the 2015 season, while Kyrie/Love were perennial all-stars - so the 15' Cavs were the on-paper preseason favorite, but ceded favorite status to the Warriors' superior brand of ball as the season progressed.

Infact, Lebron hand-picked the on-paper preseason favorite from 2011-2016, but inferior strategy/brand caused a decline to underdog or loser by the Finals each year except the Ray Allen miracle.

Heck, Lebron barely won 40 games with the East all-star center in 05', and needed to steal his opponent's sidekick (Hughes) to make the 06' Playoffs - aka Lebron's teams have nearly always underachieved given his supporting talent.
