I think we need to trade for a Turner or someone as a long-term insurance policy. AD will always get hurt so we always need to be ready for that. Turner can play the 5 well with or without AD, which is key to the future of this team. I believe the ship has sailed on using AD at the 5 because he will get hurt often trying to bang with the true big men.
Dwight is a short-term plug & play, but I prefer using him off the bench. That means it may be time to trade THT/DJ/future 1st/scraps for Turner

Do you really need another big? Feels like shooters are far more important to this system than another big guy.

What Labrone did by intentionally throwing that guy into Davis' knee is far worse than what Solomon Hill did to Labrone.

Anthony Day-to-Dayvis
Anthony Minute-to-Minute Davis
Man, the courage of LeBron to push for a trade for this fragile softie. :applause: After he willingly paired up with no-playoff played losers in 2014?
Still turned out to be a better trade compared to the Ingram-Ball alternative though, obviously.

You are fast moving up the ranks of the most annoying posters on ISH. Your hero LeBron - who could care less about you and has no idea you do exist- fouled the defensive player, causing him to fall extremely hard into Anthony Davis's leg. If there's any blame here it's on LeBron, and of course that would be stupid to do as well. This was just a random, horrible accident that could have happened to anyone.
Almost any player in NBA history would have been hurt by that fall into their knee, other than perhaps monsters like Shaquille O'Neal who might be able to tank something like that without their knee bending backwards. I've played lots of basketball, (and judging by your comments you haven't) and I've actually had something like that happen to me when a player fell and crashed into my knee, although it was much less serious than AD's. It is an awful, painful, and dangerous injury.
Why don't you stop being a troll and show a little bit of maturity.

Maybe mods might want to give him some timeout first before he does his stupid antics with impunity once again. I'm not even sure if he can last long enough in another board that's well-monitored/moderated. When slick trolls, at least he's funny and entertaining af. Plus, he flocks outside of the main forum too at times.

AD is one of the most consistently injured players in the league, but let's blame LeBron on something that happened several feet away from LeBron, and AD had his head turned towards. And I like how you say that you're not really blaming LeBron, yet at the same time casually throwing it out there.
It was an accident all right, yet an accident that always seems to mysteriously happen to Anthony Davis compared to other players. Dude got injured earlier that same friggin game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJecTeWKBr0
This was of course LeBron's fault as well, who telepathically made Davis get injured from the bench. Either LeBron's telepathy, or Davis is just made out of glass and there is something fundamentally wrong with his preparation and conditioning. One of those two.
Dude is 28 and should be in the prime of his primes, yet the Lakers might as well replace his bench spot with a wheelchair. LeBron is the one who should be on crutches, considering his age and mileage.

The mods should definitely do something about trolls on this forum.
The other day a fellow LeBron hater suggested that Kyle Rittenhouse shoot LeBron and posted a graphic picture of one of Rittenhouse's victims. I think that post is there to this day.
None of you LeBron haters said a damn thing. Yet you're suggesting bans/suspensions for basketball-related discussion that you don't agree with. Nice to know where you stand.

Or it could just be that you know he's... injury prone?
His workout routine, diet and general life behavior could be flawless and he could still be this way. Genetics are a real thing and none of us can choose them.

Lol i don't hate lebron but y'all the same regardless of the faction you're rooting for. Anyway if that's really true then i won't have any problems if that guy gets banished right away for saying such rude comment. Also, if you're trying to discuss a topic about some player whom you despise so much then you should try to do so in a calm or funny way. Not as if you're a bitter homo about him who seems so eager to watch him die already.

The fact that you were making fun of Antonio Davis when this injury was completely unavoidable and could have happened to anyone shows your ignorance. If you want to be disappointed by how many times Davis is injured, that's fine, but this has nothing to do with him being injury-prone or not. This type of injury can happen to anyone if someone falls in just the right way and slams into your knee.
The guy gritted out an ankle injury in the first half and came back in the game and then got his knee destroyed. Show a little respect, if not sympathy.

Maybe he doesn't deserve to be made fun of, but the last thing he needs is for him to people to tell him that these injuries that are constantly and disproportionately happening to him are just plain bad luck and could happen to everyone in a similar situation. Because if he keeps believing that for the rest of his career, he will get injured for the rest of his career.
I don't know the details of his diet, daily preparations or whatever, but he needs to change something, that's for sure.

He would have been fine with the ankle injury. It was ultimately lebron’s dirty play that backfired on them and got AD good. All the flopping and dirty plays come back to you at some point.
