People better get used to seeing LeBron for another 5-7 years or more if he chooses so and barring any serious injuries.
After observing the GOAT for his entire career and seeing his versatility, his development, and the various things he can do on the court. I can see him playing much longer.
We already know he's was probably the best driver EVER of the basketball. He's easily one of top 3 best finishers at the rim after contact EVER! He's one of the best floor generals and passers this league has ever seen, he can score with the best of them (will be the all time leading scorer, and is already the all time leading scorer ever in the playoffs. I'm sure someone is going to bring up turnovers lmao) But he has every move in the book. (Someone has to tell me specifically what move he can't do)
Another thing that's insane is as he's slowing down he's still more athletic than 85% of the league. What I'm noticing is that he'll be able to play either a straight PG and still average 15-20 points, 5-8 boards and 8-10 assists if he chooses to go that route or he can play the straight PF.
The impressive thing while watching him is he's a phenomenal screener. He's deadly in the pick and roll, even when he doesn't have the ball, he's great at setting up guys on pin downs, flare screens, curls while setting screens. He can literally play the Karl Malone role if he finds that Stockton type player that can handle and is good/great at facilitating.
I mean he can score in every way at that PF position. He can fade over either shoulder whether in low post, mid post, or mid range, he can play bully ball, which forces double and triple teams, sometimes the whole 5! He’s developed a little baby hook over the years, and various other moves.
We know he's an amazing facilitator out the low post, mid post and high post. So even if he's not handling the ball like he does now, he'll still to be able to average 6-8 assists, 20-25 ppg and 6-8 rebounds playing that role. Whether it's the pick and roll, setting others up for easy buckets out the pick and roll, screening and rolling to the rim for easy lays or lobs himself, picking and popping, etc.
I've never really seen a player ever be that dynamic and be able to cover so many positions in basketball and dominate in each position. That's Ole GOAT ish!
Now, here comes the *team thing" “bu bu but 6 finals losses!” :oldlol::oldlol:

By the time he retires, he’ll have the most points in the history of the league, at least top 3 in assists and what top 20 or so in rebounds? Is there anyone who will study the history of the game, look at that and just think “meh must have just been empty stats?”

Good defense > bad defense but guarding 5 positions.. Lebron hasn't been all-defense in nearly a decade.
And he can't do it anyway.. Lebron can't play or defend the center position or off-guard/SG.. he couldn't guard a solid center like say, Rony Seikaly, let alone a great center.. And he damn sure isn't chasing SG's around screens
so he can only play or defend 3 positions, just like anyone else
