people don't realize that peak Mo Williams (0.165 WS/48) = baseball Jordan.. That's how much MJ had fallen off - only the advanced stats reflect this.

So peak Mo Williams was actually not bad and worth 21 more wins, just like baseball Jordan.. The problem is the playoffs, where Mo fell to Pippen-level, and neither Lebron or baseball Jordan were good enough to carry them.

Otoh, Jordan would normally carry a bed-wetting Pippen against the top teams.. Jordan beat top 5 SRS teams with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick, while Lebron never has (like the 09' ECF).

Lebron can't have carry jobs against the top teams because his high scoring is too ball-dominant to beat the best teams and reduces teammates to spot-up shooter, while Jordan's high-scoring is partially-assisted, thereby elevating teammates and promoting ball movement/high team assists.. The latter has higher team ceilings/Finals records and wins a lot more with a lot less (superior strategy requires less supporting talent).
