Uhh, they all voted for the CARES Act and supported Trump's War on Covid-19, just like you wanted.

Trump (R) Administration helped usher in $13.3 trillion for Covid-19 and all the R governors and R congressmen (save maybe Thomas Massie) were all for it. And huge money for Covid testing, tiny relief checks, unemployment incentives, etc were all done under the Republicans.

Trump left the states to fend for themselves when it came to getting supplies needed for the virus. Trump pitted them off against each other to vie for supplies from the private sector.
