He was always inconsistent. With Atlanta he'd have a week where he scored 25 a game and then next week would be at 12.

The inconsistency applies specifically in game too. He'll take over a quarter and then suck for the others, so on a good team and in big games it makes it hard to figure out how to use him.

Lakers dodged a fatal bullet. It would have been impossible to move Schroeder for the next 3yrs if he accepted that 80mill/4yr extension. That would take us to the end of LeBron's career, wasting next 3yrs.

Westbrook has a horrendous deal too, but at least it expires next year so he has trade value in the summer as an expiring contract. You dump him to the garbage that is Knicks, Magic, or even the Thunder as they continue their 10-year (endless) rebuild. Then be on your way.

Absolutely dodged a bullet. I wouldn’t say the Thunder are on an endless rebuild. It’s only been 4 years. They have good prospects. Now the kings are on an endless rebuild
