Let's say Adam Silver comes out a day before the next season 2022-2023 season starts and says there will be no 3 point shot anymore. But 3 second violation rule stays.

It would be basically a different game but would it be just like 90's, i dont think so. Which player type would get the most boost? Rim protector, midrange shooter or off ball shooters maybe? Floaters would increase i assume. It would hurt 3point shooting specialists obviously. Also some passers like Lebron, Doncic and Harden who slash and kick it to 3pt shooters would get affected badly since court shrinks.
A guy like Gobert would be better defensively but a lot worse offensively. But he would be less of a liability in the playoffs. Giant centers would come back to the game eventually but before they do, Jokic and Embiid would eat the most, especially Jokic. I really don't know what would happen to Giannis.
Anyway i think top 10 players would be like this:
1.Jokic
KD
Embiid
Kawhi
AD
Lebron
Curry
Giannis
Butler

It would look like the mid 80s NBA. Lot of running gunning back then with minimal 3 point attempts.
