The usual suspects will come in here and try to rip him to shreds. They become more enraged by the day at his greatness.

Hope with a win, to pass Wade for all-time wins on Christmas day too.

He and Kobe basically played on Xmas every year.

And still lost. Lol.

And you can blame the teammates all you want, and they do suck, but Labrone is a huge liability on defense. He's a big part of the Lakers sucking too, whether you want to admit it or not.

At least he got the all time Christmas record though. That's what counts, right?

He's averaging 2 steals and a block this season. Had 3 steals and a block this game.

Along with the single GOAT season/peak (2012-13) and the GOAT prime (2009-2013), yes.

Lebron is supposed to be a lockdown defender and leading scorer at age 37 in his 20th year? :lol the fact he’s still dominate on the offensive end is a testament to his greatness

Nah. 2000 Shaq has a better peak.

And it goes beyond stats.

You don't have to be a lockdown defender. You can just be not lazy.

He'll have a few spurts of defense, which shows me he can still do it if he wants to. But then after a minute or two of defense, he'll take the rest of the quarter off. But I suppose it helps his offensive stats.

Might as well put a plastic cone in for Lebron on D at this point.

Shaq had an amazing season in 2000, but loses out to LeBron due to not having been All-defensive 1st team.

LeBron is capable of being a lockdown defender. The other day he blocked DeRozan's layup in the clutch, but none of his bum teammates recovered the ball.

Doesn't matter. Shaq's impact on the floor is so much more. You don't really see teams activating reserve players just to guard Lebron.
