kobe only ever missed the playoffs during years he was hobbled and without another allstar

lebron is playing as good as he's ever played

lebron has Westbrook

the west isn't even good this year

and yikes. they might miss the playoffs. so what does this mean????

I will tell you what it means

lebron has no positive impact on the game. he never did. his team defense and shooters have always carried him. he's only as good as his help is. he can't will a scrub team to the postseason like kobe did in 2006 and 2007 because lebron can't go off for 50/60 and 80 whenever his team needs him. he can drop 35 or so and pass the ball because he only likes shooting wide open. he can't force the issue like kobe could.

lebrons fluke 60 point game was an anomaly while Kobe could still do it in year 20 and win. you have to be a great bad shot maker to will a bad team to the playoffs. lebron ain't that guy

Westbrook's being made the scapegoat by the Lebronies, but last year Westbrook carried Beal and a bunch of scrubs to the playoffs. Is the Westbrook hate misplaced, or was Beal way better than Lebron?

kobe had 45 games of 40+ points in 2006 and 2007

guess how many games of 40+ lebron has in 2018-19 and 2021-22 combine

3.... all from 2019

when you don't have any good guys around you... STOP PASSING TO THEM

and the funny thing is lebron passes 3 times more than Kobe did back then and he's only averaging 1 more assist

all those wasted possessions cause hes a giant p*ssy and "playing the right way"

lebron has Westbrook
This is like saying Nicole Simpson had OJ

lebron has no positive impact on the game
Agreed 100%

In all seriousness though, think about how crazy it is that LeBron’s still playing at such a high level he’s.getting comparisons to PEAK Kobe at age 37.

uh, the lakers have used 18 different starting lineups in 34 games.

Lakers would gladly trade Westbrook for a vast number of 3&D players. Having Russ is not a treat.

averages and totals don't equal wins though. situational scoring is what equals wins

kobes scoring was all over the place depending on each game. it would be 25 or 35 or 45 or 55 or 65+ based on what his team needed.. while every single game lebron just gives you the exact same stat line and doesn't care about doing any more than that because he avoids blame

kobe averaged 35 but he never went for 35 even once. lebrons gunning for that specific number regardless of the situation. that's why he has no positive impact. he doesn't know what his team needs
just what he needs personally to avoid criticism

LeBron carried the Cavs in 2018 when they said they wont go past the first round.

When was the last time a 37 year old player got to play with a triple-double MVP and a 24-10 prime big?

Don't worry I'll wait.

dude shut the hell up he's bouncing around like he's 27 years old. dude injected enough roids to kill a horse when he was out cause since he came back he's averaging like 30 a game on 55%.. hes playing almost 40 minutes a night. so it's not his age or health so put that shit to rest boy

the man just isn't aggressive enough scoring the ball. he's still trying to make plays for these scrubs whenever he doesn't have a clean look. he's too afraid about getting blamed if his percentages dip. he's not a man. he's a punk ass female with no guts or balls to risk criticism like kobe did. he's a f*cking fraud. he just wants his 30 on 50% and he calls it a night. HES HAPPY LOSING. he does this every time he wants roster changes.

Just the fact that you actually think he's on steroids is nothing more than a compliment, you are pretty much acknowledging you have never seen a player this old play this well.

Well Lebron is the GOAT Longevity player.
I wonder how his longevity would be if he played consistently decent D until his mid 30's.

Kobe stopped playing defense in his early 30's and still didn't match Bron's longevity.

Magic & Bird, both players by the end of their careers were horrific defenders, both retired by 35.

Only Bron has played at an elite level in year 19.

LeBron took scrub lottery team to the Finals in 2007. Kobe missed the playoffs in 2005 in his prime and blew a 3-1 lead in the first round the next year. Didn’t the Lakers have 4 hall of famers in 2013? Yet, they were trash the whole year. Kobe was only MVP in 2 of 7 Finals, only Finals MVP to never shoot 50% from the field in any finals game. You take the guy that forces difficult shots and misses most of them and I’ll take the guy that gets efficient buckets.

His team doesn't seem to have to be relevant anymore for him to play great.
