Simple question.

Tonis resume include Zo, Drob, Ewing, and Mutombo:

Which current players have a better list? Even if you strike Mutombo from the list for not recovering in time to get the full poster hes still got 3 all time rim protectors.

Kobe had more than that. But I’m talking active.

Toni have a better resume than anyone doing it today? You would have to have like Gobert, Duncan, and Dwight as a current player. Nobody now has completed an infinity gauntlet of elite victims like Jordan, Shaq, Doctor J, Kobe and some of the older guys but someone should at least have Toni beat.

Did Blake get anyone noteworthy or were all his big ones on defensive nobodies?

Probably Lebron, and I'm not sure who else.

Duncan, KG if you wanna call him a rim protector(great defender but not how I’d classify him), and who?

He ever get Dwight straight up?

Ben Wallace?

I feel like I’d remember those but he’s been around so long I can’t say for sure.

We giving all time time protector status to a guy who’s greatest contribution is the rule of verticality and out muscling Chris Bosh?

You cant punish Lebron for the fact centers were less of a household name in his era. He can only facialize the people put in front of him. And there is no doubt in my mind Lebron gave the very best facials. Only the very best.

I'll begrudgingly acknowledge the Zo dunk even though getting Zo 5 years after an organ transplant turned him into a backup is like beating Memphis Iverson to a loose ball and saying you’re quicker than Allen Iverson. I still acknowledge it because Zo was still a rim protector and went hard to block everything because he didn’t have it in him to be a complete player anymore. I accept that entry. It’s just like being funnier than Bugs Bunny after they took the racism and guns out. It’s….it’s still technically Bugs bunny I guess. Technically.

I will not accept the Gobert entry though. Escargot Eaton wasn’t in position and just stood there. Kinda like the Mutombo one I took from Kukoc even though Toni’s was a one on one play.

Cool.
Can you post the videos? I'm having a hard time finding them.

That dunk on Mutombo was not a poster, still impressive though.

Bro, Lebron and I don't owe you anything. Do your own homework.

That is not at all a dunk on Dwight. I assumed he had a couple but I don’t have any evidence of it.

Lebron dunks on Howard

Is that it?

Tim Duncan didn't even jump on the first jump.

Mourning was borderline out of position, plus it wasn't prime Zo.

Don't even get me started on Howard.

2/10 overall.

I'd assume Dwight has dunked on a lot of people. But who do we consider ATG shot blocker? Do Chris "Birdman" Anderson count?

Part of the issue is that he actually played against a lot all time great shot blockers.

What great shot blockers are playing now? Rudy? I am not sure i would put him in the same tier with DRob, Deke and prime Zo.

I think another issue with Kukoc is being left handed. I think that gives him an advantage since shot blockers are used to contesting right handed dunks.

Being 6'11 as long as most centers doesn't hurt either.
