Honestly getting dunked on isn't even a big deal. Definitely exciting for the offensive player, but I see guys like Giannis and Gobert get dunked on more than anyone because they are simply more willing to constantly guard the basket and "risk" getting dunked on. What IS a big deal is when defenders don't even try to contest a dunk due to fear of getting dunked on. That's more embarrassing.

I don't disagree.

I don't disagree.
So why'd you make the thread then :lol
Lebron has been playing for 19 years. He's probably been dunked on more than any active player.

Because I expect some interesting debate to come out in it.

Udonis Haslem.
The man is a fake tough little bitch who shouldn't even be in the league. He must have some serious blackmail on Pat Riley.

Not close to most but which active player has logged even remotely as many minutes?

You can't play for close to two decades without getting dunked on. Especially as you get older.

I’d imagine Gobert and Dwight. Anyone who wants to play good defense more than hide and also plays the minutes. Dwight might really be the answer. He’s been contesting for like 17-18 years now. Even Chris Paul got Dwight.

If you've never been dunked on in the NBA, you just don't play defense. Even dudes like Curry and Trae have been dunked on.

I'm impressed that you had the balls to bring up Jason Terry.
How'd Terry do in the 2011 finals?

Probably Gobert. It honestly pisses me off when guys don't try to block shots. Blocked dunk attempts can get a team going.

Why would it piss you off? Your hero doesn't even move his feet on D.

An interview with Zo says he doesn't mind getting dunked on because it's a 50/50 probability
Either he or the brave soul would be the highlight reel after the game, though Zo was an impressive shot blocker for his size

That's why I respect Zo.
Those whiny avoiding the poster is weak stuff. If you don't think you could block it, at least make sure it's a hard foul (not dirty).

If layups over LeBron like that Claxton ones count as dunks, then you must have quite an arsenal of "dunks" over LeBron.

I'm not a Lebron fan but I respect anyone that's willing to get dunked on.
At least they are trying to defend.

It’s a pretty big double standard imo that someone like Kobe gets praised for attempting and missing difficult shots & GW’s, but when someone contests and gets dunked on, they get clowned for it. I’d take someone contesting the dunk and getting jammed on over not attempting the contest every single time.

Good contest. Great finish.
