They have 7 regular rotation players averaging double digits per night (plus 2 others averaging 10+ but due to injury they wouldn't "qualify").
2nd in offense, but only 24th in defense. Propose changes/trades that would put them solidly back in the playoff picture by the trade deadline.

The Hawks need at least one another All-Star level player if they want to be a serious contender.
Trae cannot do it all by himself and no one else on that team is an All-Star level player.

Trae is pretty much the best offensive point guard of the last decade not named curry. He's pretty easy to build around, just need a lot of defensive guys.
Trae is like Steve Nash he doesn't play defense.
Trade for Myles Turner
Get rid of the lottery busts like reddish and Hunter
Carrot top needs to go as well
Their whole team is a shithole actually. They locked up a lot of their bums too after trae carried them to the conf finals

Not "a lot" just Collins and Huerter.
I also think Huerter is tradeable if you think it's needed. Any suggestions?

They already have the and best offense. So which defensive all-star so you think is a good fit?

The biggest thing for the Hawks is to get healthy. I think they need some toughness, someone like Draymond Green who brings the intensity every night especially on the defenisve end.
Clint is there defensive anchor but he is way to passive and can't stay in the game in the 4th because he can't hit free throws. Nate has to stop running the 2nd unit through Lou Will and Gallo, if anything I would trade Lou for a impactful backup for Trae, Lou is too inconsistent.
