Two approaches to winning. Which one do you choose?

In the beginning, the Breakfast Club was Jordan’s private routine. Yet teammates began to express curiosity about his pre-practice routine. Soon Jordan was inviting them to join him for the pre-dawn workouts. The core Breakfast Club was composed of Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper, and Randy Brown.

The group often met as early as 5 a.m., getting in serious reps before chowing down on a breakfast of eggs, banana pancakes, oatmeal, grits, and fresh fruit. While the workouts no doubt helped all of them improve their conditioning, Jordan was adamant that it was about promoting a mindset of toughness and preparedness, too.

James set up a 'war room' in his house in LA. He did his own research into who would be a good fit alongside him and Anthony Davis. James held meetings at his home with players and called others to see if they would be a good fit.

Davis joined James on some of these meetings and so did former Laker Jared Dudley. The big bombshell of this particular knowledge is that the first star who was on the docket to try and join the Lakers was another Los Angeles Native: DeMar Derozan. James and the Lakers also targeted Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal, but ultimately they realized the pieces they had to trade with would not work out on multiple levels for these kind of trades.

Lebron averting nuclear disaster and negotiating peace treaties with his red telephone while Jordan and co dance in school libraries after having heart to hearts about the struggles of upper middle class suburban life. Makes sense. Great thread OP. Didn't know you were a Lebron acolyte. 5 stars.
