Not really, but it does somewhat explain his high scoring seasons. The only seasons he averaged over 30 ppg he needed at least 42 mpg to get there and we all know how crazy inefficient he was as well.

That's been tremendously overblown relative to the era he played in. No guard that plays now that's around his height would even come close to his numbers.

5’6 isaiah thomas averaged 29ppg with 46%fg while playing only 33 mpg in this superadvanced competitive era where advanced aliens are playing. AI and his inefficient ways wont even make -any team in the current NBA.

AI also turned the ball over at historically low rates... That balanced out his inefficient scoring.

12 TOV% in Philly is historically low?

I was thinking of the playoffs. For his entire career he had a very very impressive 9.3 TOV%.

Why not do that in the regular season too?

And besides: that's not much better than prime Vince's 9.7 TOV% or Orlando Tmac's 9.5 TOV% yet I've never heard anybody say those guys had "historically low turnover rates".

What? Old ass Chris Paul would do a shitty 30 PPG on ridiculous minutes and bad efficiency right now if he wanted.

Young ass Chris Paul actually did blow his scoring away in 08 and 09. Especially considerig he was an elite playmaker. And played at one of the slowest paces in league history.

Chris Paul would do 30/5 instead of 20/10 PPG if he was dumb enough to his entire existence as a young man. 2008 to 2018.

In other simpler words Chris Paul was flat out and categorically a better scorer than Iverson. Especially pre-meniscus tear.
