Celtics should take a flyer on him. Heard he’s good

The only thing impressive about him is that he's 37. If it weren't for that, there would be nothing impressive at all about his zero defense meaningless points leading his stacked team to a below .500 record.
Some idiots on here are actually saying he's the best player in the league. I guess they don't watch much basketball.

kobe = 24 teams with 50+ wins eliminated
jordan = 20 teams with 50+ wins eliminated
lebron = 14 teams with 50+ wins eliminated
adjusted ring totals to lebrons average finals appearance and kobe/Mike's finals win% (1 finals appearance for every 1.4 teams with 50+ wins beaten)
Kobe = (24 divided by 1.4 = 17 finals. 71% finals win ratio = 12 rings )
Jordan = (20 divided by 1.4 = 14 finals. 100% finals win ratio = 14 rings )

Yeah that reminds me. Lebron barely faced 50 wins in his historically weak conference. The main driver for his bye to the finals where anything can happen.
Hence 4/10.

But how many of those wins against 50 win teams was Kobe the Lakers best player for? 100% guaranteed he drops below Jordan once you take out his 2nd option wins

we've already went through this and every time the only team you can disqualify kobe for beating is the 98 Sonics
vs the sun's in 2000 he hit a game winning shot and averaged 21ppg. to say that doesn't count would be like saying gasols 2010 ring doesn't count
vs Portland in 2000 he averaged 20/5/6/2/2 and led the Lakers in points/rebounds/assists and blocks in game 7
and vs Indiana he averaged around 20ppg (when playing. not counting the 2 point injury game) and saved game 4 with Shaq fouled out
then after that kobe averaged 25 to 35 every series and was either co lead or #1 option

No. It's widely known that Lebron mostly played in a weak Conference.

Roy Hibbert and co. gave Lebron all he could handle.
That Pacers team wouldn't even get past the second round out West.
