He's absolutely atrocious defensively. If you think the Lakers' defense was bad before, he would make them significantly worse.

Valentine is going to Knicks. Lakers did it to open a slot & save money, which I don't blame. Stanley Johnson is taking that slot. He is what the Lakers needed - wing defender
