Pippen was definitely a great defender. One of the best. Ranking him #1 of all time is waayyy too much though. He wasn't even the best defender on the Bulls when he played. Rodman was. How can you have Pippen on the list but not Rodman? Top 15-20 is probably fair.

Wtf, Rodman peaked as a defender in Detroit, Pippen was without a doubt the Bulls best defender at least through the mid-late 90's.

Not even close. Plenty of bigs have better cases. While Pippen was a great help defender (arguably the best as a wing) his man defense gets overrated. I've seen multiple perimeter players torch him. Penny and GHill lit him up routinely. And in the late 90s going into the 00s, Kobe did too.
