^^^ That's standard in a top-heavy league with 2 super-teams and 28 regular teams - the 2 super-teams have free passes to the Finals and easy/dominant runs, aka high net efficiency

Otoh, it's a much tougher path to have equal net efficiency among teams, because a league of many Finals-caliber teams is a tougher path than a league where 2 teams get a free pass by virtue of having abnormally-stacked teams.

I think you have a lot to say about Jordan and Lebron. Jordan accomplished more but he also played in a era which was softer and not top loaded with great teams rather all the great players were all spread out. Jordan might have won in the 70's and the 90's but he got crushed in the 80's and the 60's he would have had to play on the outside because Wilt and Bill would have taken his teeth or his head. Lebron on the other would likely have been very good if not better in any era of the game. You put Lebron on the Celtics as a front court guy and they sweep the decade, you could put Lebron as a guard on the Lakers and they sweep the 80's, you could put Lebron with Moses, Dr. J, and Barkley on the 76ers and they would sweep the 80's. Lebron is a five position player and the greatest 2nd option in NBA history. Jordan's the best 1 option in NBA history but you need to put the pieces together because he loses to great teams.

You can put Lebron on any team from any era and he would be successful because he changes his game to fit with his teammates. Jordan you put him on those stacked teams and he might be successful or he might hurt those teams by not being able to adjust to a different role.
