East is looking interesting AF. I'm honestly not sure who's the best at full strength.
Brooklyn obviously has the most firepower, but they're old and have a questionable defense.
Milwaukee is proven; can't really say anything bad about them.
Chicago has a really nice team this year, as does Miami -- when healthy of course.
IDK.

If Miami stay healthy they will come out of the East.
The NBA finals will be Phoenix vs Miami.

1. Brooklyn
2. Chicago/Miami
Not sure where to put the Bucks. Haven't seen enough of them with a full roster.

the nets questionable defense is actually 6th in efficiency.

I know, but I question its legitimacy. I'm not sure about the personnel either. Can they stop the best teams in the playoffs? That remains to be seen.
I feel better about Miami and Milwaukee's defense.
Milwaukee has had a bad stretch during the early part of the season but i guess that's because of the covid protocols.

It's honestly close. I can see any of those teams plus the Sixers getting out of the East.
By the way Brooklyn has bigger problems on offense this year than defense believe it or not.

They won a Championship with a full roster, just saying.

Bulls struggle against Philly and Miami, but somehow can beat Brooklyn. Brooklyn should be able to beat anyone in the East but I think Milwaukee and Chicago gives them the most problems.
