First time I watched Michael Finley played on TV. Back then they always televised Bulls Game here in the Philippines.

Michael Finley is a Chicago boy too. I know it must have been a big thrill to beat the Bulls.

MJ was winning 60-70 every year, so wins against the Bulls were rare.

Otoh, no one cheers when they beat one of Lebron's 53-win super-teams because his super-teams usually suck and underwhelm.. it isn't an accomplishment

The Mavs were 14-49 when this game was played. And the Bulls were healthy. Pretty fun win for Chicago boy Michael Finley.

Finley was one of the many long, athletic wings from that era, like Sean Elliott, Reggie Lewis or Derrick McKey.. These guys were all good shooters that would have more prominent roles on both ends in today's perimeter format

But the format was 1998, so I’m not sure how that helps them.
