Exposed? He's been out for a few weeks he'll be back soon enough to make his MVP case. Lakers are 3 - 5 since his injury (3 - 6 really since he only played half of the Wolves game) and that's with a fairly soft schedule and with Lebron playing 37 minutes a game while going all out like it's the Playoffs.. not a good look.
Anyways, this is about Kuz and not the Lakers.

And 3 - 5 with wins against Rockets, T-Wolves and a decimated Blazers squad lol. Trae just put up 56 and 14 on Portland, these opponents haven't been very good defensively and they've beat zero + .500 teams in this stretch.

What is AD's record without LeBron this year?
Hell, LeBron won 3 titles without AD while AD was missing the playoffs or getting spanked in the 1st round without him.

I already made a thread on this before, the Lakers have been pathetic without AD and beating a few lottery teams in a 3 - 5 stretch doesn't change that fact. Lebron missed the Playoffs the year before AD and the Lakers were up 2 - 1 in RD1 but lost in 6 as soon as AD went down in Game 4, what other proof do you really need at this point? Yes, Lebron can still stuff the stat sheet in today's NBA but that's not good enough to win games, the Lakers are sorely missing AD's defense. This Lebron at the 5 gimmick is not doing the defense any favors, it's worked in some games but the Lakers haven't had to play many good offensive teams in this stretch & they're getting killed on the boards. T-Wolves just had twice as many rebounds (56 to 28) in the last game but we lucked out due to their horrible 3PT shooting & turnovers & they didn't even have KAT & we were down going into the 4th.
You Lebron apologists are really pathetic. This thread has nothing to do with him or the Lakers but you have to come in and derail it because that's all you care to post about because obviously you're not watching the games.

Kuzma - 2.4 ppg 59.1%FG/55.6%3PT, +2.1, 15 - 3 record

Y'all want to bring Lebron into a Kuzma thread so I had to do it.
Also, AD is shooting 57.9%FG in crunch time compared to Lebron's pathetic 27.6% and the Lakers are 9 - 7 in those games, maybe they would have won more of those if they went to Davis more in crunch time, but then again he is playing with two of the biggest ballhogs of his era.
Yeah this thread has nothing to do with LeBron though.

Still way short of the 18.7 ppg spoon-fed to him by LeGOATest.
A couple of weeks ago he had a 3 game stretch where he averaged 6 ppg on 32% in 28 minutes. Call me when he develops something that even resembles consistency.

He’s like 26 he is what he is at this point. A streaky role player without any discernible skill besides the ability to get hot occasionally.

Except that was the season Lebron was out for a long stretch in which he averaged almost 22 ppg in.. Cool, he had a stretch where he barely took shots and he played low minutes.. He averaged 21/10/3 in his last 5 before the Hornets game. He's fairly consistent if he gets the touches though I do agree that his 3PT shot is far too streaky. It doesn't help that they don't have a true playmaker and that Dinwiddie is an anemic scorer on top of it as well. They're still down Rui & Bryant who are both starter-level players as well. They shouldn't be near .500 if you look at how bad they are in all the metrics but Kuzma's incredible clutch play has saved more than a few games for them this season.

fluky? He's averaging 22/11/3 50.5%FG over his last 17 games and has scored in double figures in all of them. How many games does he need to do this in order for it not to be a fluke? It's not like he's having an unsustainable 3PT shooting streak, he's at 33%3PT during this stretch and is still putting up All-Star numbers.

I don't necessarily think the numbers are fluky. I could definitely see him being a 18-20/10 guy.
The only issue (and I've said this many times) is that I don't think that him being 20/10 is ever going to be on a team that is more than just mediocre. His peak as a player to me is 15/7 or 14/8 with good impact on the defensive end on a really good team.

He could be a solid 18-20 ppg 2nd/3rd option on a team with a superstar 1st option. He averaged 18.1 ppg and the Lakers were 20 - 14 before Lebron's injury in the 18-19 season & he's improved as an all-around player since then. A lot of the Wizards' struggles fall on Beal and Dinwiddie not living up to their contracts, they've been flat out horrible this year. Kuz' incredible clutch play alone has kept them afloat because they should be a lot worse than they are record-wise.
Wiz need to trade Beal for Simmons if that's still on the table at the deadline.

They were down 13 with under a minute to go lol, there's no saving the day in that scenario, especially with them playing small against Giannis. Harrell can get buckets but he's not someone you'd put out there as a 5 with Giannis on the court, you're not winning with 0 rim protection.

Kuz is still beasting with 20/9/5 averages on 45/39/86 splits in his last 10 games  Wizards are only 1.5 games out of the play-in despite trading Dinwiddie & Bertans for KP (who hasn't played) & shutting down Beal for the season.
