The sharpshooter with a burst?

I believe so.

Imagine if he played defense like a Klay Thompson/Scottie Pippen type. Instant 3-peat

To an extent, Monk is a poor man’s Kyrie.
That’s probably why they mesh so well on the court

Pippen only yielded the #7 team defense during the 1st three-peat, including worse defenses than 4 of 6 Finals and ECF opponents.

He got less DPOY votes than MJ every year, including none in 93', while MJ was #2.. So Pippen wasn't even the best defender on his team, with virtually zero examples of him shutting anyone down as the primary defender, and tons of examples of him getting destroyed by his matchup

Pretty fvcking good for one man on the perimeter.

Pippen AND MJ are much better defenders than Klay. Klay was presented as this ideal 3D guy but he was an incredible shooter with mediocre defense.

Monk saved the Lakers' season by emerging as a star, which gives the Lakers 4 stars and a bevy of veteran HoF's off the bench.

A truly stacked team, yet their record is.... Borderline .500????.. :biggums:

How does that not confirm Lebron's skillset underachieves a team's talent?... along with him turning the preseason favorite into underdog or loser for 7 straight years (10-16')?... :whatever:

I'm not convinced the Lakers' season is saved yet. They still haven't beaten any teams that are actually good.

He’s Lebron’s favorite kind of player. Dynamic…can create his own shot and shoot at an elite level. He doesn’t need Lebron to go get it. That takes a lot of pressure of Lebron and gives him a chance to rest on offense. There’s a reason why Kyrie was Lebron’s most compatible teammate of all time. Because he was the ultimate version of that.
