Good luck to him. It's never fun dealing with major injuries and chronic pain, I know all too well. Dude has been waiting to come back so damn long. So I'll never hate on him for it whether he succeeds or struggles.

But it's most likely not going to be easy at all for him to be anywhere near as good of a player as he was. Warriors fans really need to keep their expectations in check and not put too much pressure on him. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he looks like a downgrade overall from these young athletic players the Warriors have now. Because realistically Klay is most likely going to struggle defensively, and the Warriors biggest strength this season has arguably been their defense and hustle.

So Klay would have to shoot REALLY damn good in order to make up for being a downgrade defensively, and what are the chances he somehow scores the ball as good as he used to when he's most likely going to have less speed, get less separation, less elevation on his jumper, struggle to shake defenders on his way to the basket etc etc. Sure, he can play the spot up shooter role fine but is another spot up shooter who's mediocre defensively really going to make a difference for the Warriors at this point of time with the roster they have?

He's not that young anymore either... he's in his 30's... not gonna be that easy to go from not playing ball for like 2.5 years to playing at NBA speed getting big minutes as a starter

That will be a good game. Hope Klay comes back like his old self. Warriors are short and Cavs are massive. Some matchups will be interesting.

Cavs have yet to win a game against the dubs since 2017. They've been taking beatdowns since a long time ago.

Let's hope Iguodala isn't playing so the Cavs can win

Lol even without iggy playing for that team the past two seasons the dubs never lost to them at all.

Cavs were missing their best players in the previous matchup but I think they're all back now so shit's about to change.

No more easy wins for wee Wardell unless Klay goes off for 50.

I really hope so. They've been on a hot streak rn unlike in their past three seasons. They have to break that miserable drought against them.
