How did Klay get hurt practicing?

Now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t get how Klay could get hurt just practicing. He was just shooting hoops and tore his Achilles? I guess it’s possible but you would think a pro athlete was stronger than that. Any possibility he was doing more than just shooting around?
