I felt the Lakers were the best team in the NBA during that season. Terrible Coaching, and lack of experienced in the playoffs were their downfall.

They'd make the finals that year or if not, at least took the jazz to 7 games in the wcf.

The earliest would have to be 1999 because Jackson created the last dance saga in 1998. I think they definitely win the title in 1999. Bringing in Fisher and Horry was huge as well.

Shaq is always better then the other teams best player and he's 2-3 times better then the other teams 2nd best player. So it wasn't fair once Kobe developed under phil. It was like the Durant warriors pretty much, Horry being a poor mans klay.
