It doesnt matter. People dont really care what distant political leaders do. Theyre more concerned with being embarrassed in their own backyard.

Thats why people freak out if you dont support mandates and masks and such. If people are nonchalant about something theyve invested so much energy freaking out over, it makes them look bad. Same reason hyper religious people wanna crucify others around town who dont agree with them, but wont lift a finger to hold leaders accountable for abuse.

The common person is happy to accept a bit of subjugation and corruption if it means avoiding looking silly or stupid in front of the group. They dont mind a few elite leaders being above them, as long as it doesnt look like all of society is above them.

People arent gonna scrutinize Fauci even if theres enough smoke to justify it, bc it risks vindicating all the people theyve debated against. It risks publicly exposing their own errors.

Thats just the way human nature works. People will not be objective if it does not work in their interest.

IMO this story feels like a limited hangout or something... from the so-called "conspiracy" perspective, this document is just a little too good to be true.

We get 1) evidence that the US (fauci) created the virus, 2) that ivermectin and hydroxycloroquine are effective treatments, 3) that there was a massive conspiracy to control the narrative using silence/smear tactics, and 4) that the mRNA vaccines dont work... all in one document?

While I wouldnt be surprised if all 4 of those points are true, it seems unlikey to me that project veritas would be able get their hands on a document that proves all 4 of these items in one go... or that a document like this could even exist.
