:facepalm
The Philadelphia 76ers have begun to attach Tobias Harris to their trade discussions of Ben Simmons, according to Brian Windhorst and Marc J. Spears of ESPN. Harris signed a five-year, $180 million deal with the 76ers during the 2019 offseason. “I’m hearing they want to include Tobias Harris,” said Spears of Philadelphia’s trade talks with the Atlanta Hawks. “Me too,” replied Windhorst. “That is the word out there because they can’t necessarily get an All-Star they want in return right now, as the Sixers have continued their talks, they’ve talked to teams about trading Tobias and Ben.”
Adam Silver needs to step in and veto this and move Ben Simmons you are the #5 seed and you are trying to dump 70 million dollars of cap money..has that ever happened before?

Harris is a bigger liability than Simmons so I agree if the return can get us something of value

It would have to be a multi-team package. Who would want someone as overpaid as Harris anyways with that many years remaining?? They should have just kept Jimmy butler instead of Harris.

My sentiment exactly except Butler didn't want to defer to Simmons

I just hope the Sixers don't mess up and make a stupid trade to end up in a worse situation than they are currently in.

Adam Silver wants this Simmons saga over more than anyone. I'm sure he will help out trying to get this trade through anyway he can.
Getting off the Harris contract is a tough ask. But I still trust Morey. If any GM can do it, it is him.

That’s a big ask, definitely intend on getting a third team involved but why package them together? I feel like adding an albatross contract to a guy no one is leaping at (provided they have to give up an All Star) just adds insult to injury
Can’t think of a single team in the league that’s not tanking that would improve by taking on his salary.

Even a tanking team wouldn't want to pay Harris the remainder of this year and 2 more years. Horrendous contract..

Fair point however there are exceptions.
As I have said before a Russ for Tobi trade could work for both the Lakers and Sixers in the short term.
If Pelenka want's to go down the same road as Griffin did in Cleveland and go all out and throw everything at getting a ring now at the expense for the future this the sort of move he could make (for example see Love, Kevin). Tobias can definitely help the Lakers right now, especially with AD out.

Exactly and why is the league expected to bail out a major market team that's in the playoffs after they tanked for years and botched their roster. If you are competitive without Simmons how can you ask the rest of the teams in the league to fix all of your issues.

So teams can now have the awful contract alongside the headcase? Sweet

you have a team full of cancerous nutcases on bad contracts yet people still want them. so i dont see the problem
Tobias and Ben for Harden + we will bring in 2 or 3 more teams to make the deal work

How much more help does Emchoke need?
Let westbrook come to this team, don't care if they don't like him at all.

It's actually very relevant because until now nobody faults Tobi. But now because it's added to the package now its transparent he's overvalued.
But if a GM thinks he is worth the value then you get Simmons too

I hope that any team will take Weshaqtinabrook while letting go of any solid player, let alone giving Simmons for him.

Harris was a very up and coming player when the Bucks let him go ... I was disappointed because I thought his game reminded me of Marcus Johnson !!
Since in Phila - he seems to not have that drive and it could be because of the team as a whole.
Still think Houston Wall for Simmons would be a better move , but people are talking about New Orleans.
Ironically 6'ers really don't need a PG cause they have Maxey now who IMO is most improved player of the year/

Would be hilarious if Simmons ended up on the Hawks, there's a real possibility this could happen if they included a 3rd team.

I do-it-yourself either of us knows what you're talking about in the first patsy. In the second we have the insane idea that Nets give up a superstar for said headcase and a bad contract
