This team is just surreal to watch over the time that i've spent seeing this footage over the last 72 hours. The olympics released these game not too long ago, it's literally basketball porn

mullins has got to be the most underrated player in nba history. The guy is just an absolute nuisance and never runs out of energy. Chasing you around screens, pestering ball handlers, knocking down shots, hitting gorgeous passes. Just everywhere.

pippen played brilliantly in most of these games

ewing is the weak point, basically a jump shooter in these games.. if there is a "weak point" that is. I'm being probably too critical of him tho because these guys are all basically hung over and/or still drunk.

jordan had 2 blocks and EIGHT steals in one game, I believe the finals.

barkley is just a full grown man, what an absolute monster.

the game vs croatia, i think number 11 is a UNIT that dude threw anything that came his way into the stands. Must have had 5 blocks in the first half alone. Shot free throws without hitting the rim, must have been around 7'1.

just lol @ this team though. Here let me get my bench player in the game. oh wait, he's in the hall in fame too. Anyone that says this team can be beat is absolutely nuts, they're not even trying and often times look bored out there. In the second half of this particular game they turned up the heat and hit another gear and it was like watching nba vs pre-school. They're completely unbeatable and anyone that says otherwise is bananas.

Dream Team '96 was better, despite the fact that the '92 team is for obvious reasons remembered more fondly by people and even players who played on both teams:

-No weak links (Laettner)
-No way past their prime stars (Larry Bird, who was nearly swept in the 1st round of the 92 playoffs while averaging 11 ppg could barely stand in 92, and Derrick Coleman was better than him)
-No players were left out due to politics and saltiness of bigger stars on the team (Isiah Thomas)
-Didn't lose their game against college players

you're just wrong on so many levels i'll let someone else bother with it.

I'll say that:

1. jordan ain't on that team

2. no way past their prime players is lol worthy, barkley was 33 years old and a shell of his 92 finals suns self. Malone was 33, pippen was 30 ( basically getting close to old ). stockton was...... 34. did you even look up anything or just start talking and expect me to accept it?

That team didn't have any worthy opponent but they had some glaring weakness. They had crippled Larry Bird and out of shape Magic. And these legends need to get minutes. Against a real team, they'd get destroyed everytime Magic or Larry got in the game.

I don't think they'd even win against 1992 Bulls.

It was a great team, but their competition was absolute ass. How can you watch those games and come out in awe when they were playing taxi drivers?

In my view, the '88 team probably would have been better...

C - Ewing
F - Barkley
F - Bird
G - Jordan
G - Magic
bench
K. Malone
Isiah
Stockton
Drexler
Wilkins
Moses
McHale

MJ, Bird, & Magic all in their prime. Not like '92 when Bird & Magic were pretty much retired.

It's a fact that Mullins didn't miss a shot the entire time.

There's plenty of players in that time that could and did play in the nba, look at kukoc. It's not FULL of them of course

but like i've said before it doesn't matter, no ones beating this team. And there was no 88 team so idk why you even brought that up for.

some of you guys tho just make me LOL like I can't even begin to explain the 92 bulls beating this team when this team had jordan AND pippen on it. So let's say both teams got 92 versions of pippen and jordan, they cancel each other out... Who's gonna guard drexler on your bench? Who's gonna guard mullins on your bench? Who's gonna guard ewing, robinson, malone? Those 3 alone are gonna foul out your entire team by the first half.

Who the f is Mullins? Jeff Mullins? He would have been 50. Show some respect.
