I forget about Clyde Drexler. I think Mullin was listed as a Small Forward in the 1990's.

I thought Sprewell was a small forward because he was on the Knicks with Allan Houston at shooting guard

They hate on him by overrating him? :lol

Anyway, yes the 90s was pitifully weak by comparison to any other modern era

I would say the second best was Reggie Miller.

Drexler dropped off in the mid 90s while Miller kept it going the entire decade.

Um, Clyde literally was better than Reggie every season until Clyde's last season.

Why is starks so overrated on this forum? Lol. Really over drexeler and mullin?

Because he was MJ's arch nemesis at SG. MJ said he knew the exact dates of games against the Knicks throughout the season so he could prepare

Um, Clyde literally was better than Reggie every season until Clyde's last season.

You might be right.

Clyde stats for the 90s:

20.6 / 6.3 / 5.6 / 1.8 on 46/33/80

Reggie stats for the 90s:

20.4 / 3.1 / 3.1 / 1.2 on 48/41/89

Ritchmond stats for the 90s:

22.5 / 3.9 / 3.6 / 1.3 on 48/39/85

Sprewell stats for the 90s:

19.6 / 4.3 / 4.4 / 1.6 on 44/33/80

Statwise it's pretty difficult to choose between Clyde, Reggie and Mitch.

Playing wise, what success they had, Clyde and Reggie are clearly in a league by themselves.

Otherwise it shows just how much of an outlier MJ was. The shooting guard position was simply not a high scoring position in the 90s, except MJ.

Miller over Clyde ...
Clyde had more All Star Teams, All NBA teams, playoff appereances, Finals appearances, Playoff Games. Dream Team and original NBA at 50 member. All in the 1990s.
Reggie Miller continues to be overrated.
His teammate Detlef Schrempf made the All Star team over him in 1993.
